Ex-Escort Spills Dark Secrets About Diddy’s Final ‘Freak Offs’ With Cassie

A former male escort has come forward with chilling claims about his time with Sean "Diddy" Combs and Cassie Ventura, alleging that the final sex parties he witnessed were much darker than earlier encounters.

As Diddy’s trial continues, this witness says he saw a disturbing shift in Cassie’s behavior and the energy in the room.

Shawn Dearing, a 37-year-old former escort and model, has revealed that he participated in over a dozen of Diddy's infamous “freak offs,” elaborate sex parties that reportedly involved Cassie Ventura.

In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE Magazine, Dearing described how those sessions changed in a disturbing way over time.

“I just would say overall, the tone was a little darker towards the last times I'd seen them,” Dearing revealed.

He described the change as a shift in energy and atmosphere, one that made him uncomfortable. “I got to see the dark side of things,” he added.

According to Dearing, Cassie’s demeanor was no longer carefree or willing. Instead, she gave off a reluctant, robotic energy.

“I'm here, I have to perform. Let's do this,” Dearing said, paraphrasing Cassie's alleged attitude during those final sessions. “It was more of a ‘doing this to please him’ type of spirit overall. I can tell when the energy was different.”

Dearing claimed that Cassie, now 38, seemed trapped in the cycle. “She was playing her role,” he said. “It was evil... and she was under that.”

He went on to explain his impression of Cassie’s state of mind, noting, “In my opinion, in that situation, she didn't know if this was a beast she could control or not anymore. So she was along for the ride, because she had to, because who knows? Who knows where this beast is going, and there's no way to tame it.”

Cassie herself broke down in court while testifying about the alleged “freak offs” during Diddy’s federal sex trafficking trial.

She told the court, “I had to do ‘freak offs,’” and confirmed that she never wanted to participate in them.

Dearing shared that his first encounter with Diddy occurred in late 2014 or early 2015, when he was booked through an escort service called Cowboys4Angels.

He didn’t know who the client was beforehand. The encounters mostly took place at high-end locations in Los Angeles, including a bungalow at The Beverly Hills Hotel and a condominium on Sunset Boulevard that he believed belonged to Cassie.

Dearing said Diddy tried to hire him again after he left the escorting world in 2017 and returned to Hawaii, but he declined.

“I just kind of had to do a lot of personal soul searching, in a sense,” he said. “I stepped away from that, realizing it was darker. Because honestly, I do care about these ladies. So I had to step away.”

Reflecting on his journey, Dearing added, “I never thought that [escorting] was part of my life plan.”

He’s now “on a different path” and says he no longer worries about public opinion. “The truth is, I don't care what anyone says about me,” he said. “If people would want to think negative thoughts about me, that's on them.”

As for why he’s speaking out now, Dearing said it’s not about attention. He only wants to support Cassie’s testimony and help the truth come to light. “I just want to lend some credence to what she said,” he shared.

Diddy, who is currently on trial for sex trafficking, racketeering, and other charges, has pleaded not guilty.

Federal prosecutors continue presenting evidence in Diddy's Manhattan trial. A former assistant, Mia, concluded her emotional testimony detailing physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

She expressed that she "can't look my niece and goddaughters in the eyes" unless she spoke up.

The prosecution emphasized that Diddy used threats, violence, and manipulation to control victims who were coerced into “freak-off” sex parties.

A key part of the prosecution’s strategy included trauma expert Dawn Hughes, who explained how abuse victims can become psychologically trapped by perpetrators through shame or dependence.

Meanwhile, former executive assistant George Kaplan invoked immunity and revealed Diddy maintained strict control over his image, even managing drug and lubricant supplies for the controversial gatherings.

More witnesses are expected to testify, including a pseudonymous accuser known as “Jane,” who will likely testify about additional “freak-off” allegations.
