Wood, who spent her only season on the Bravo show navigating a contentious relationship with Jesse Solomon, posted a message on her Instagram Stories following the season 9 reunion, updating her followers about her status on the show.

“Well… that wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot,” she wrote. “I stood up for women and for what’s right, even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat.”

Wood continued, “I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (Well… maybe one)," before saying she was "proud of the way I handled myself" and "proud of what I walked away from."

"Big things are coming! Stay tuned!" she finished.

During an earlier interview with The Daily Dish, Wood shared her thoughts about Solomon and their time together in the house.

"I think he lied so [much] to so many people, all over the place, on and off camera," she said. "He created just such a mess and such a huge confusion for everyone, I think, and he completely manipulated relationships to form against each other which I think is awful."

The 27-year-old also addressed the trust issues she had with Solomon, who joined the cast a year prior in 2024.

"I think it's funny because a lot of people don't have the opportunity to see what the person that you're dating is doing behind your back or saying behind your back," she added. "Seeing everything [that] has been said behind my back by the person I trusted the most, I think that's been the most hurtful."

In a season 9 "Summer House" episode, Bravo viewers witnessed Wood break up with Solomon after the two navigated many ups and downs together during the summer.

Although the two had conversations about Solomon "lying about a girl sucking his toe" and him "acting single" on weekends when Wood wasn't present, the straw that broke the camel's back was when Solomon told Wood that he couldn't meet her out with her friends because he was getting a manicure at 9 P.M.

"When you said that, I immediately got, like, a gut punch where I’m like, 'He's lying again,'" she told Solomon in episode 14.

"You've changed me," she continued. "I no longer trust people like I did at the start of the summer. I feel like the light in me is slowly dying because I'm exhausted from teaching you. I've said this all summer: I feel like it's, like, emotional whiplash."

Wood isn't the only "Summer House" star walking away from the bright lights and cameras. On June 5, Paige DeSorbo, who joined the show during season 3 in 2019, told her followers that it was time for her to turn the page, too.

"I have a little life update for you: I've made the decision not to return to Summer House," she wrote in her Instagram Stories. "Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable," she continued.

"You've seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for this chapter to close," the fashion influencer added.

But the veteran reality star didn't end there. DeSorbo, host of the popular "Giggly Squad" podcast and author of the New York Times Bestseller "How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously," also assured Bravo fans they could expect to see more of her soon.

"To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family: thank you," she said. "I never could've imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven't seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed."
