Pregnant Cassie Reportedly In Labor Days After Harrowing Testimony In Diddy's Trail

Cassie Ventura's baby number three is ready to meet the world!

The singer is reportedly now in labor with hopes to welcome her third child just days after she got on the dock to give a quite intense testimony in Diddy's ongoing case.

Cassie married her trainer, Alex Fine, in 2019, a few years after she parted ways with the controversial rapper and business mogul after dating for over a decade.

The songwriter reportedly found her way to a New York hospital on Tuesday and is currently admitted to the labor and delivery unit. An inside source is, however, hinting that the singer's ongoing labor may come with some medical complications.

This new development comes on the heels of Cassie's shocking testimonies against her ex-boyfriend about her experience during their highly publicized relationship. She was reportedly eight months pregnant when she came forth with her account of events.

Cassie, who sat in the dock with her very visible baby bump, attended four days of questioning in court. As shared by TMZ, the performer was spotted cradling her belly several times while heading for her seat after the session ended.

Four months after Cassie and Fine said "I Do" at their Californian wedding, the couple welcomed their first child, a girl, Frankie, in December 2019. According to PEOPLE, the couple welcomed baby number 2, daughter, Sunny, less than two years later in 2021.

Now, all is set for the arrival of their third bundle of joy, a boy. Cassie has not hidden her intentions to set good example for her daughters. The mother-of-two expressed her desire to maintain her identity while embracing motherhood.

She emphasized the importance of being true to herself and wants her daughter to witness her balancing various roles, whether as a musician, entrepreneur, mother, or wife.

By doing so, she hopes to inspire her daughter to pursue her own dreams and teach her that she can achieve anything her heart desires. Cassie also aims to lead by example, showing that it is possible for someone to be multifaceted and fulfilled in different aspects of life.

Cassie was not alone while unpacking her traumatic experiences during her relationship with Diddy. Her husband pulled his weight behind her, both within and outside the court, as the testimonies poured in.

The Blast reported that as Cassie concluded her part in the trial, Fine released a lengthy statement filled with nothing but praises and words of assurances to his wife.

"Over the past five days, the world has gotten to witness the strength and bravery of my wife, freeing herself of her past," the fitness trainer began.

He emphasized that despite all the speculation on his state of mind, listening to his wife's admission, he stayed in awe of his partner for her strength. His statement continued:

"I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her. So, to him and all of those who helped him along the way, please know this: You did not. You did not break her spirit nor her smile that lights up every room."

Fine praised the singer for pulling herself out of a dark place after years of hardship, fear, violence, and abuse. He concluded that the "horrific chapter" is now a thing of the past in their lives. The concluding part of his message saw him declare the love they share for each other and how it binds them as a family.

A lot went on behind the scenes while the couple dealt with the aftermath of alleged lengthy years of abuse from the business mogul.

In one of her testimonies, the actress recalled an incident where her husband got so enraged and punched the wall after learning about a rape episode between Diddy and Cassie.

As noted by The Blast, Cassie explained that she and Diddy linked up in 2018 over dinner to clear things up and have closure on their defunct relationship. 

Everything went well until the rapper dropped her off at her apartment. She recalled the rapper following her into her apartment after they had dinner and forcing himself on her.

"I just remember crying and saying 'no,' but it was very fast. His eyes were black, he wasn't himself, it was like somebody taking something from you," she shared.

The soon-to-be mother-of-three also revealed during the trial that she was introduced to Diddy's wild parties at 22 when he pitched the idea to her. "Freak Offs," as she called it, involved her indulging in sexual activities with a third party, usually an escort to Diddy's pleasure.

The singer admitted to feeling uncertain about agreeing to the process, but she accepted it as she "loved him very much and wanted to make him happy."

While it was not something she wanted to engage in frequently, as they eventually did, she recalled feeling like she did not have a choice at some point.

"Staying out for days on end, taking drugs and drinking, having sex with a stranger. They would be 36, 48, 72 hours; the longest was four days," she noted.

They also indulged in harmful substances to elevate their experience during these parties. She recalled being so intoxicated one time she lost track of time and reality around her.

Cassie added that when everything wears off, she is often faced with the ghosts of her actions, which are disgust and humiliation. She said, "I didn't have the words to show how horrible I felt. I couldn't talk to anyone about it."
