During Sean "Diddy" Combs' Manhattan trial, ex-assistants of the music mogul revealed bizarre and disturbing details.
One such detail was the embattled rapper's strange love of applesauce on cheeseburgers and other food.
Testimony also included an incident where Diddy hurled apples at a past girlfriend and a chaotic confrontation with Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura aboard a private jet.
Diddy's Ex-Assistant Reveals His Applesauce Obsession in Court

Diddy's unusual habit of putting applesauce on his cheeseburgers was oddly highlighted twice this week during his Manhattan trial, as former assistants revealed quirky details about the Bad Boy Records founder on the stand.
During Thursday's testimony, ex-employee George Kaplan described how Diddy and his team used a "Black AMEX card," the nickname for the ultra-exclusive American Express Centurion Card, to cover everything the music mogul requested, from baby oil to yacht rentals and luxury villas.
When defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo questioned him about the applesauce, Kaplan explained, "Mr. Combs loves applesauce and eats it on the side or top of a lot of things," Kaplan responded.
"Cheeseburgers?" Agnifilo asked. "Cheeseburgers being one of them," Kaplan confirmed, per the New York Post.
Agnifilo then inquired whether Diddy could realistically keep track of all the card's expenses.
Kaplan replied, "His world was the size of the Earth. He was doing business all over the world … Frankly, to think that he knew where some of these things were coming from is unrealistic."
Jurors Cringe As Former Assistant Talks About Diddy's Bizarre Applesauce Habit

The unusual combination of applesauce and cheeseburgers also came up earlier in the week during Tuesday's testimony from David James, another former assistant to Diddy.
James, who handled the rapper's riders, was questioned about the hip-hop icon's specific requests.
He explained that when Diddy traveled to the UK, he always brought American ketchup because the local tomato sauce didn't meet his standards.
James also said he regularly packed applesauce, noting that Diddy loved it so much that he even used it as a topping for his burgers.
"Were you aware he put applesauce on his cheeseburgers?" Agnifilo asked. "I was not aware, but I knew he liked applesauce," James replied.
According to reports, the jurors visibly reacted with discomfort when the unusual food combo was mentioned again, with one juror even making a gagging motion.
Ex-Assistant Details Violent Outbursts By Diddy In A Mansion

The amusing talk about applesauce offered a brief break from the more disturbing testimonies about Diddy's alleged violent behavior toward his girlfriends.
During his testimony, Kaplan recounted a 2015 incident at Diddy's Miami mansion when the rapper, who later took the name "Love," hurled apples at a then-girlfriend named Gina during a heated argument.
Kaplan described the throw as "hard." "He was very angry," he testified, noting that Gina "was trying to shield herself with her arms and trying to move away from him."
He added that the apples had been part of the mansion's entryway decor, though he wasn't sure if they were real or fake.
Diddy's Ex-Assistant Speaks On The Rapper's Violent Moment With Cassie Aboard A Private Jet

Kaplan described chaotic scenes during a 2015 altercation between Diddy and his then-girlfriend Cassie aboard the mogul's private jet.
He described how Diddy and Cassie were separated by a partition on the private jet when he suddenly heard the sound of glass breaking.
"I looked over my right shoulder. I saw Mr. Combs standing over Cassie," Kaplan recalled.
He said he witnessed Cassie lying on her back, with her legs raised to keep her distance from Diddy. At the time, he said the rapper was holding a whiskey glass as the "tremendous commotion" unfolded, and Cassie was yelling, "Isn't anyone seeing this?!"
Despite the commotion, Kaplan said no one stepped in to help, not even Diddy's security team.
Ex-Assistant And Al B. Sure! Offer Contrasting Views On Kim Porter's Relationship With Diddy

Kaplan also spoke about Diddy's relationships with Cassie and "Gina," noting that both were considered his "girlfriends," but in a different league than Kim Porter, the producer's longtime partner and mother to three of his children.
"Mr. Combs always seemed to have an extra gauge of patience with Ms. Porter," he explained. "Ms. Porter seemed to make Mr. Combs really happy, even when he was otherwise not. He wasn't going around treating everyone poorly all the time, but he treated her in a really special manner, different from how he treated others."
However, back in January, singer Al B. Sure! Broke his silence about Diddy's relationship with the late Porter, offering explosive revelations in the documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy."
In the documentary, Al B. Sure! Makes serious claims about Porter's fears during her time with Diddy, particularly as they raised her son Quincy together before she had three more children with the music mogul.
"Kimberly said, 'Don't get involved. You will get killed," he alleged per the New York Post. "Let's just say, you gotta listen to Kimberly. Because not only was she trying to save me, but she was putting her own life in danger."
