Brittany Snow just dropped a dating horror story for the books, and it involves a “very famous DJ” who literally fell asleep while they were “making out.”
The "Pitch Perfect" star opened up about the awkward encounter on the "In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele" podcast, recalling how things went south fast after she matched with the mystery man on the elite dating app Raya following her 2022 split from ex-husband Tyler Stanaland.
According to Brittany Snow, the unnamed music man managed to pass out three times during their short-lived fling.
Brittany Snow Recalls Cringe Date With Famous DJ

“One of the first dates I'd ever gone on from Raya was this very famous DJ,” Snow said on the podcast, keeping the DJ’s identity under wraps, but made it clear that she “never matched with Diplo.”
“I think it was the first and second and third date that he fell asleep, once, while we were making out. Mid-make out. I'm not kidding. Swear to you,” she shared.
She described one moment when things were getting cozy on his couch.
“It was just making out and I was sort of sitting here, but kind of on him like this and kissing him, and then all of a sudden I sort of felt like no kissing back,” she said. “I looked at him and I pulled back and he was just dead asleep.”
Naturally, Snow was stunned. “I woke him up and I was like, ‘Hey, what the f-ck is going on?’” she said. His excuse? “Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm just so tired.”
Snow Tried Giving Him Another Shot

Snow even gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he had a late set, but the DJ didn’t stop at one snooze-fest.
“He was very sweet about it. We go out, like, a week later and he comes over to my place. Same thing. We're kissing … We're making out, he's back asleep.”
Despite the apologies and promises to “make it up to her,” Brittany admitted. “I took it personally. I was like, ‘Wow, I must really be just so hot.’”
Brittany Snow On Tyler Stanaland Divorce

Two years after the divorce was finalized, Brittany Snow spoke out about her painful split from "Selling the OC" star Tyler Stanaland.
The "Pitch Perfect" actress opened up during a raw and revealing interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, sharing what it was really like to navigate a public breakup while watching her ex cozy up to co-stars on reality TV.
Snow and Stanaland, a former pro surfer-turned-luxury real estate agent, tied the knot in March 2020 after two years of dating. But by September 2022, shortly after Season 1 of "Selling the OC" premiered, the couple announced their separation.
The show documented Stanaland’s flirtations with several castmates, including an off-camera moment where co-star Kayla Cardona allegedly tried to kiss him, an incident he later confirmed, saying they "nearly kissed twice."
Season 2 took things even further, showing Stanaland and co-star Alex Hall sharing a steamy hot tub kiss.
Brittany Snow Recalls Watching Her Divorce Play Out On TV

Snow, who typically keeps her private life under wraps, said the hardest part was dealing with how public the entire situation became.
“I don’t have the anger that I think that people wanted me to have…I just didn’t even want to go there,” she admitted.
And yes, she saw it all play out. “Of course I saw it,” she said. “I watched it with my dog.”
Looking back, Snow admitted that the real heartbreak wasn’t what played out on screen, it was losing faith in her own instincts. “I think the saddest part of the whole thing was I didn’t see any of it. To trust yourself after that and be like, ‘I have a good sense of character’... I had instincts, and I think because I was in love I didn’t trust them,” she said.
When host Alex Cooper asked if she watched the episodes alone, Snow simply nodded before laughing it off. “Whatever! Now I can laugh about it because it’s insane and it’s so funny," she said.
Brittany Snow Says Media Missed The Real Story

While she confirmed some of the headlines about Stanaland were true, she insisted the media missed one major element: the love they shared.
“There was a marriage. There was so much love," she clarified. "It’s much more salacious and interesting that it’s just like ‘he did this’ and ‘she did this.’”
Still, Snow said she doesn’t regret the relationship, despite the betrayal. “I don’t regret anything that happened because I loved that time when we had it,” she shared.
