During the third day of her testimony in Diddy's federal trial, Cassie recounted her husband Alex Fine's enraged reaction upon learning the rap mogul allegedly raped her in 2018.
Cassie Testified That Diddy Raped Her In 2018 And Husband, Alex Fine, Had An Emotional Reaction

During her second day as a witness in Diddy's trial (in which he faces charges of racketeering and sex trafficking), after Cassie detailed the alleged freak offs she felt pressured to participate in, the singer testified about a frightening experience she had with Diddy in 2018.
Cassie testified that she met with Diddy in September of that year over dinner to have a "closure conversation" about their relationship. Although she said he was "playful" and romantic during the night, his demeanor reportedly shifted when he dropped her off at her home.
Cassie, 38, who was with Diddy for a decade until 2018, testified that when they entered her apartment following dinner, Diddy allegedly raped her. "I just remember crying and saying 'no,' but it was very fast," she said, per PEOPLE.
During the attack, Cassie claimed, "His eyes were black, he wasn’t himself, it was like somebody taking something from you.”

The "Me & U" singer later testified that she had consensual sex with Diddy once more following the alleged attack before officially ending things.
During her May 16 testimony, Cassie also revealed that when she informed her now-husband, Fine, about the alleged rape, he punched a hole in the wall, per NBC News.
Cassie and Fine first met after Diddy hired the latter to be Cassie's personal trainer. They married in 2019, have two kids together, and are currently expecting their third within the next several weeks.
Fine has remained largely silent throughout the ongoing legal proceedings regarding the abuse that Cassie first opened up about in her lawsuit in November 2023. However, in May 2024, he shared an open letter to women and children on Instagram, which many believed was about his family.
"Men who hit women aren't men," he wrote. "Men who enable it and protect those people aren't men."
"Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved," he added. "Hold the women in your life with the [utmost] regard. Men who hurt women hate women."
Diddy Allegedly Brought Up The Idea Of Freak Offs To Cassie When She Was 22

During an earlier part of the trial, Cassie revealed she was 22 when Diddy allegedly first mentioned the idea of her participating in a "freak off," which has been described as a sexual encounter in which she'd perform for Diddy with a third party, usually an escort.
"I was 22 at the time, my stomach churned, didn't have a concept of how that would be a turn on, but I accepted the responsibility," Cassie testified on the stand. "I was confused, nervous, but also loved him very much and wanted to make him happy."
She added, "It wasn't something that I wanted to be doing, especially as regularly as it became. But again, I was in love and wanted to make him happy. At some point, I felt I didn't have much of a choice."
One Of Diddy's Alleged Freak Offs Lasted Four Days

Later, during her testimony, Cassie said that the freak offs became so regular that she had no time for "anything else."
"Staying out for days on end, taking drugs and drinking, having sex with a stranger," she said in court. "They would be 36, 48, 72 hours, the longest one was four days."
According to the "Step Up" actress, the freaks offs were fueled by illicit drugs and alcohol, and by the end of them, she'd feel "horrible" about herself. "I felt disgusting. I felt humiliated," she said. "I didn’t have the words to show how horrible I felt. I couldn’t talk to anyone about it."
Cassie even said that she was "so high" during the alleged sexual encounters that she would question her reality.
"I was high so I didn't feel much," she said. "Did this really happen to me? I didn’t know what was going to happen after that, if we were going to do it more frequently, I said yes to more, I didn't want to make him upset or angry."
The Unsettling Nickname Cassie Called The Jailed Rapper

During another part of her emotional testimony, Cassie revealed an unsettling nickname Diddy allegedly instructed her to use for him—one that was deeply personal to her.
"He wanted me to have a nickname for him," Cassie shared. "He asked me what I called my grandfather, and I said I called him Pop Pop."
She told the court that she initially found the request "weird," but today, she finds it highly "disrespectful."
It's only the beginning of Diddy's trial, and with the number of charges he's facing, the rapper could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted.
Despite the charges, though, the "Hello Good Morning" performer has rejected a plea deal, which would have guaranteed a reduced sentence.
