Prince Harry is reportedly being shunned by the royal family over deep trust issues, particularly after his interview, where he hinted at King Charles' health issues.

A royal biographer criticized the Duke of Sussex for oversharing, especially during a sensitive time, and accused him of worsening the rift through his memoir and media appearances.

Following his court loss over security, Prince Harry admitted he couldn't see bringing his family back to the UK.

The royal family is said to be blackballing Prince Harry, with insiders claiming a deep lack of trust lies at the heart of the estrangement, not just toward him, but also toward Meghan Markle.

"I genuinely think nobody trusts him, and that's the bottom line. The royal family has major trust issues with him, and that's what's at the heart of everything," a palace insider shared with Page Six. "They don't trust him and Meghan, and that's why they can't have a relationship … maybe there's room to forgive, but they won't forget. Forgiveness and trust are two different things."

The tension has only intensified following Harry's recent BBC interview, where he hinted at King Charles' health woes, saying he's unsure "how much longer" his father has left.

The remark, seen by some as insensitive, reignited long-standing concerns within the royal circle about Harry's openness with the press.

Royal Biographer Slams The Duke For His Remarks About King Charles

While many were stunned by Harry's remarks about Charles' health, royal biographer Hugo Vickers didn't hold back in his response, saying the prince reminds many of his late mother, Princess Diana, especially in his fraught relationship with the media.

He explained: "Harry is quite like his mother [the late Princess Diana]. One day, when I was at Buckingham Palace, I was shown the letter that Prince Phillip wrote to Diana in which he said, 'Every time Charles talks to you, it's in the Daily Mail the next day.'"

He continued: "The same thing is happening now. Charles is, of course, right not to trust him. Harry is hopeless in that respect. He shouldn't have given that interview — but none of the royal family should ever give interviews, it's always a car crash."

Vickers added that he believes Harry crossed a line that should never have been touched.

"Harry has just got to accept [the security decision] and stop whingeing and whining," Vickers said. "It was disgraceful to talk about Charles's health, if he's not talking to him, how does he know anything about it?"

Prince Harry's Timing And Public Complaints Sparked Outrage

Vickers also pointed out the poor timing of the BBC interview, which aired during a week when Charles met with cancer patients at Buckingham Palace, speaking about his own battle.

"Harry wrote in 'Spare' how the king told him, 'Don't make my last years miserable' — and yet he's done exactly that," Vickers said. "Enough with the 'me, me, me' complaints. The king has got enough on his plate. He's got the problems of the world on his shoulders and doesn't need a whiny son."

Vickers didn't mince words, stating, "Harry should be begging his father for forgiveness … and it should be done quietly, not on TV. But he won't. Because he's so stupid, he's basically blown it."

Vickers' commentary comes after Harry lost his Court of Appeal battle over the UK government's decision to revoke his publicly funded security detail.

The hearing for Harry's appeal occurred last month, with the court finally issuing a decision on May 2.

At the center of the argument made by Harry's lawyer during the hearing was that RAVEC failed to obtain a risk analysis before arriving at their decision to downgrade his security.

This particular claim formed the core of the court's statement about its decision to dismiss the appeal, in which the court noted that obtaining a risk analysis would not have impacted the decision made by RAVEC.

The Duke of Sussex argued that without access to UK intelligence, his private US-based security team can't adequately protect his wife, Meghan, 43, and their children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3.

In the wake of his court loss over taxpayer-funded security, Harry opened up to BBC News, expressing that he currently sees no future for his family in the UK.

"I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point," he said.

The Duke of Sussex also disclosed that Charles has cut off communication, allegedly due to ongoing disputes over security arrangements.

He "won't speak to me because of this security stuff," Harry shared, adding that the fallout from his memoir "Spare" had only deepened rifts with the royal family.

However, a palace insider suggested Harry's fixation on security could be more than just a safety concern, hinting it might serve as a convenient reason to keep his family at a distance from future royal events, including potential funerals.
