The "Gossip Girl" star appeared on Seth Meyers' late-night show, where she opened up about the emotional toll she has seemingly endured this year amid her court battle with Justin Baldoni.

She seemed to cause quite the stir among netizens as she was spotted without her wedding ring. Instead, she wore a big cocktail ring on the middle finger of her left hand.

Alluding to her ongoing legal battle, Lively told Meyers: "What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life and I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design."

Lively continued, "It's what keeps us silent. But I also acknowledge that many people don't have the opportunity to speak."

"So I do feel fortunate that I've been able to, and as a woman, you have the ability to use your voice - that's kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It's a pretty simple thing," she said, per the Daily Mail.

Elsewhere in her chat with Meyers, Lively was full of praise for her four children, whom she shares with husband Ryan Reynolds, describing them as her "lifeline" during what she said was an "intense" year for her.

The couple who have been married since 2012 share four children: daughters James, Inez, Betty, and son Olin.

"It's no surprise it's been a pretty intense year, and they're just my lifeline," she said. "No matter what day I am having, I have to be Disneyland for them. It's the best, it's chaos."

She also described how her son makes her feel special and is "so romantic" because he complements her and makes sure to announce that she's the "love of his life."

However, the "Late Night With Seth Meyers" host pressed to know if she felt like he was "more loving" than her daughters were "at that age?"

She replied, "No, it's different. It's just different, he just like announces that I'm the love of his life at all times, which is like just the best feeling in the world."

She then joked, "I get dressed every day like a girl in middle school, and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I hope he says something.'"

Lively's TV interview on the show is her first since being involved in her ongoing court battle with Justin Baldoni.

Back in December, she accused the actor of sexually harassing her on the set of "It Ends With Us," as well as going on a PR campaign to tarnish her image.

Baldoni, on the other hand, denied the claims and responded with a $400 million countersuit against her and Reynolds, as well as their publicist Leslie Sloane, alleging that they tried to wrestle off creative control from him, as well as extortion.

More nerve-racking revelations have emerged from the legal back-and-forth and filings between Lively and Baldoni.

One major revelation was Baldoni's claim that the actress tried to intimidate him with her husband, Reynolds, and friend, Taylor Swift, referring to them as "my dragons" and comparing herself to "Game of Thrones" character Khaleesi.

She has also been accused of failing to read the novel on which the movie is based until after filming had started.

Reports have now confirmed that Swift and Reynolds' close pal, Hugh Jackman, would be subpoenaed in the ongoing legal feud between the "It Ends With Us" co-stars.

Lively has also been subpoenaed to produce all forms of communication, including text and emails, relating to Baldoni and the movie "It Ends With Us."

Lively, who has seemingly garnered the ire of fans since the legal proceedings began, is said to have "no regrets" over suing Baldoni and is ready to see it through till the end.

"This wasn't a decision made on a whim — it was months in the making," a source told People Magazine. "She knew there would be backlash, and she prepared herself for how mentally and emotionally difficult it would be."

"But she can't go through life knowing she didn't stand up to something she believed was wrong," the insider added.
