According to new odds, several major players from past "White Lotus" seasons could be making a comeback, including fan-favorite Sydney Sweeney.

The Emmy-nominated actress, who starred as Olivia Mossbacher in season 1, is currently sitting at 2/1 (+200) odds, meaning she has a 33% chance of reprising her role, per betideas.com.

"Sydney Sweeney is one of the most in-demand Hollywood stars right now, and her return to 'The White Lotus' would be a major coup for the show's bosses," betideas.com spokesman Shane Orton said in an email sent to The Blast.

Meanwhile, Jon Gries, who plays Greg Hunt (aka Gary), is the frontrunner to return with odds of 1/5 (-500), giving him an 83% chance of appearing in the new season. Gries has become the show's unofficial mascot, having appeared in all three previous seasons.

Where's 'The White Lotus' Headed Next?

Pack your bags because "The White Lotus" is heading back to paradise.

Mike White's darkly addictive HBO satire, which has been skewering the ultra-rich and their vacation disasters since 2021, officially wrapped its highly anticipated third season earlier this month. And while Season 3 took viewers on a chaotic ride through Thailand, complete with yoga retreats, blackmail, family feuds, and the show's signature "who-died" mystery, fans are already buzzing about where Season 4 could go next.

Though HBO has yet to confirm the new location, the series has famously been filmed at a different Four Seasons resort each season: Hawaii, Italy, and most recently, Thailand. But that beachy trend might be coming to an end.

"For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the 'crashing waves against rocks' vernacular," White teased in a post-finale video shared by Max. While fans have long been begging for a ski resort setting, don't count on it, as producer David Bernad told The Guardian, "Mike doesn't like the cold."

A Look at Season 3

Season 3 followed three main groups: a chaotic family from North Carolina, a pair of mismatched lovers, and three lifelong friends on a soul-searching reunion. And, as always, it all began with a dead body whose identity wasn't revealed until the final episode.

The latest season's all-star cast included Justified's Walton Goggins, Sex Education breakout Aimee Lou Wood, Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Sarah Catherine Hook, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sam Nivola, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, K-pop queen Lalisa Manobal, and Tayme Thapthimthong.

Natasha Rothwell returned as Belinda, the zen spa therapist from Season 1, while Jon Gries made a surprise reappearance as Greg, the conniving widower of Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya.

As for the next luxe locale?

HBO's Head of Drama Francesca Orsi revealed back in February that the team was "probably heading somewhere in Europe," though Deadline recently reported that location scouting has been pushed to summer as White takes a much-needed breather after wrapping Season 3.

Season 4 Theories Explode As Sydney Sweeney's Return To 'White Lotus' Seems All But Certain

While there's no release date for Season 4 just yet, don't expect it anytime soon.

The wait between Seasons 1 and 2 was just over a year, but the gap between Seasons 2 and 3 was nearly two and a half years, largely due to the 2023 Hollywood writers and actors strikes. With Season 3 only wrapping on April 6 and production still in early planning stages, fans might not see the next chapter of "The White Lotus" until late 2026.

Still, with rumors swirling about potential returning cast members, including Sydney Sweeney and Michael Imperioli, and fan theories already in overdrive, it's clear that wherever "The White Lotus" goes next, the chaos is sure to follow.
