Amanda Kloots is moving forward and doing it in style!
The TV show host debuted her new relationship with Justin Gimelstob on the red carpet. This comes after the former Broadway dancer shared in 2023 that she was open to finding love again despite public criticism.

Amanda Kloots Says She Is Still In The 'Courting Phase' With New Beau

Kloots and Gimelstob made their red carpet debut on Monday, stepping out as a couple for the first time at the "An Unforgettable Evening" event in Beverly Hills.
The appearance marked a major moment for Kloots, who confirmed the relationship is still in its early stages. She revealed that things "happened very naturally" and described the connection as "absolutely lovely."
She also shared with PEOPLE that they are in the "courting phase," adding that she appreciates how Gimelstob treats her. "He's a wonderful man, [and] wonderful father. I love how he takes care of me," she stated.
Gimelstob is best known for winning two mixed doubles in 1998 alongside Venus Williams, before retiring from professional tennis in 2007. He later welcomed his son Brandon in 2013.
Justin Gimelstob Shared How Long He Waited To Win Over The Actress

The 48-year-old did not rush into things with Kloots, in fact, he waited patiently before she gave him a shot. Opening up to the publication, Gimelstob revealed he had his eye on the mother-of-one long before their first real date.
"I was admiring her well before she gave me a shot," he stated, noting that they were connected through mutual friends.
While he joked that their first encounter at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas was a first date, Kloots clarified that they did not officially go out until about a year and a half later. He did not hold back when asked what he loves most about Kloots; he said:
"She's physically beautiful, but the way she handles everything. She's so classy, has so much grace, and is an amazing mother. She cares about people. She's generous in spirit. She has a beautiful energy and is an amazing athlete. I mean, I could keep going and going."
'The Talk' Former Co-Host Previously Shared Willingness To Find Love Again

Before Kloots made headlines for stepping out with her new beau, she had already hinted at her readiness to find love again.
The Blast reported that back in 2023, the 43-year-old acknowledged she was open to dating, though she admitted re-entering the scene came with its own challenges.
While attending an event, Kloots did not shy away when asked about her future in love. Instead, she leaned into the moment with humor.
Drawing inspiration from Taylor Swift's high-profile romance with NFL star Travis Kelce, Kloots playfully called this new chapter her "Travis Kelce era." She laughed as she embraced the label, even asking the interviewer to help play matchmaker.
The 'Fit For Christmas' Star Took A Proactive Stance To Shut Down Critics

Kloots opened up about the difficulties that came with moving forward in a candid interview. She shared that her early experiences dating other widowers "helped immediately to break down the discomfort of 'I'm coming in with a lot of emotional baggage.' You don't have to explain yourself."
Despite her careful approach, Kloots faced backlash for putting herself out there less than a year after Cordero's death. But she was not about to let anyone shame her for trying to heal.
"I nipped it in the bud," she said of the early criticism, adding that she used her platform to spotlight the realities of widowhood by hosting raw, live conversations with others in the same boat.
Amanda Kloots Faced Crushing Medical Bills After Nick Cordero's Death

Before finding love, the dancer had to face the harsh financial aftermath of losing her husband to COVID-19 complications.
The Blast reported that Kloots was left to deal with staggering medical bills from Cordero's 95-day hospital stay, during which his body was sustained by multiple machines.
She revealed that just the ventilator cost around $3,000 a day, one of many devices keeping him alive. "When I heard that, I immediately was like, 'What am I going to do?' So you can imagine what the total bill was," Kloots shared.
She continued, "So I don't think the financial magnitude really, really hit me until he passed away, and calls were coming in — unfortunately, death is a business."
Amanda Kloots and Justin Gimelstob's relationship is still fresh, but it is already clear they have a sweet admiration for each other.
