Actor Sam Asghari is opening up about his relationship with real estate agent Brooke Irvine, whom he has been dating for several months.
Prior to their relationship, the former personal trainer had been involved with “Toxic” singer Britney Spears after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. The two tied the knot in June 2022, but things quickly went downhill.
Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023, and the former couple was officially declared single as of December 2024.

“It’s about love. That’s what it is,” the 31-year-old actor told the publication. “It’s not about the industry, it’s not about Hollywood.”

Although the couple was seen together in November 2024, ahead of the holiday season, they did not confirm their relationship until an Instagram post shared in January 2025.
“The Traitors” reality star shared a few photos of him and his girlfriend on social media, captioning the snaps, “Happy New Year to All.”
The actor’s divorce was finalized in May 2024, but he was not declared legally single until December 2 of that same year due to California law, which requires a minimum six-month waiting period.
Sam Asghari Says He Is ‘Very Happy’ In New Relationship

About a week after he was legally declared single in the eyes of the law, an insider spoke to Us Weekly about his new relationship. The insider said that, after taking “some time for himself after the divorce,” Asghari is now “very happy” with Irvine, whom they called a “normal girl.”
The insider also revealed that the couple had been dating “for a few months” by that point.
However, they did not make their red carpet debut as a couple until last Friday. Asghari explained the decision to make their relationship more public while speaking to the publication at the event.
“It wasn’t, ‘Now is the time,’ or whatever, but we’re here to support a great cause,” he said. “Love is not about gender, not about race, not about anything. Love doesn’t understand any of those things, so that’s why I’m always going to be an ally of this [LGBTQ+] community — because they help me believe that and understand that. That’s what’s really great about this community.”
Sam Asghari Shares The ‘Weirdest’ Part Of His Relationship With Britney Spears

As The Blast previously reported, Asghari has started to open up about his relationship with Britney Spears while appearing on Kate and Oliver Hudson's Sibling Rivalry podcast on January 27. He spoke a bit about her conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021.
“One day, I started learning about what the conservatorship is, and that's when I was like, ‘Wait a minute. I thought I was in America. What do you mean someone over the age of 18 needs permission from their parents?’” he recalled. “That was the most difficult and weird spiral thing that I've witnessed in my life.”
Asghari Shares The ‘Best Thing’ He Tried To Do For Her Under The Conservatorship

Although the pop star’s decisions were heavily controlled by her father and her management team during that period of her life, Asghari said that the “best thing” that he could do for her was provide emotional support when she needed him.
“I think the best thing to do is to provide support in that moment, and that's what I did, I provided as much as I could,” he explained. “This was my experience in life that I had to go through very gently because if you do anything wrong, you say the wrong thing...”
Although he didn’t finish his sentence, he concluded that he is “always” going to be “grateful and happy” that the relationship “ever even happened.”
