Rihanna Leaves Fans In Stitches After Sharing Relatable Parenting Hack

Rihanna had to resort to an ingenious means to get her sons' attention and shared her actions with her fans on Sunday.

The pop diva shares two children with her partner and rapper, A$AP Rocky.

The couple became parents for the first time on May 13, 2022, when they welcomed RZA, while his younger brother, Riot, was born in August 2023.

The "Diamonds" singer took to her Instagram Stories to share a hilarious video of her eyes and lips with a banana filter.

In the clip, Rihanna's eyes were wide open as she seemingly tried to get her kids to focus on her. She also gave a wide smile toward the end.

The singer captioned the video, "SINCE MY KIDS LOVE BANANAS SO MUCH, BUT WANNA IGNORE ME."

Meanwhile, H.E.R.'s 2016 song, "Focus," accompanied the video, emphasizing Rihanna's desire for Riot and RZA to listen to her.

The Shade Room reposted Rihanna's Instagram Stories post on its page, and several fans took turns commenting on it, with most finding Rihanna's actions amusing.

One person wrote, "She's so funny," while another person added, "You can tell she enjoys being a parent."

Another person shared, "She play ALL Day lol," while a fourth fan wrote, "Lol kids be obsessed with anything."

Meanwhile, some fans used the opportunity to ask Rihanna to release a new album as they have been craving for one since her last album, "Anti" was released in 2016.

One person urged RZA and Riot to keep ignoring their mom till she drops a new album. They wrote, "Good job nephews ignore her how she has been doing us for years no new album."

Another fan craving new music from Rihanna added, "If you wanna make an album about bananas just say that Ri we will take that."

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky usually keep their sons out of the spotlight, but the proud mom has been sharing more with her fans lately.

On March 8, the "Work" crooner celebrated International Women's Day by sharing never-before-seen photos of her son taken from the delivery room after she gave birth to them.

The first picture showed her cradling RZA while wearing a gold necklace and pearls.

In the second photo, Rihanna wore pink sunglasses while holding Riot, who slept in her arms.

The Fenty founder captioned the post with a heartwarming message.

She wrote, "By far the most powerful thing I've ever done as a woman...my little miracles! And yes, I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses... don't ask, a lot was happening."

The mother of two has never shied away from sharing her love for motherhood in past interviews.

For instance, in March 2023, she spoke to British Vogue months after welcoming RZA and described her experience being a mom.

Rihanna said, "Oh, my God, it's legendary. It's everything. You really don't remember life before, that's the craziest thing ever."

She added, "You literally try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don't identify with it because you don't even allow yourself mentally go that far, because... Because it doesn't matter."

Just as fans were adjusting to Rihanna's new role as a mom, she surprised the world once again during her 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show by revealing she was expecting her second child.

After welcoming Riot, she officially completed her family. At the time, a source told PEOPLE Magazine, "Rihanna feels her family is now complete," and added, "It's something she's always wanted."

The insider also shared, "She loves being a mom, so this is where her mind is at the moment."

Although Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's kids are still toddlers, they are already showing they may follow in their famous parents' footsteps and become musicians.

Rihanna dished on her sons' love for music during an interview with Harper's BAZAAR in February.

She revealed that RZA is "just an empath. He's so magical. He loves music. He loves melody. He loves books. He loves water. Bath time, swimming, pool, beach, anything."

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old said Riot is "just hilarious," before teasing that he wants to "sing" all the time.

She revealed, "When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream. Not in a crying way. He just wants to sing."

Rihanna added, "And I'm like, 'Okay, here we go!' He's my alarm in the morning! He's not taking no for an answer from anyone. I don't know where he came from, dude."
