Not everyone is blasting off with excitement over Katy Perry’s new tour.

Fans ruthlessly roasted Katy Perry for her robotic and "awkward" choreography, with some calling it “shockingly bad.”

Fans Say Katy Perry’s Career Is Over After Viral 'Lifetimes' Tour TikTok

In a minute-long clip shared to TikTok, Perry is seen backing up toward the crowd to shake her rear, laying flat on the stage to lift one leg in the air, and performing stiff, robot-inspired moves to her hit "Part of Me," all while rocking a space-age cone bra and thigh-high boots.

"People are paying to see this?" one X user complained.

"This clip is not impressive. This looks more like somebody who’s come out of retirement after 30 years and trying to pull the same moves off they did when they were young and popular," another critic piled on.

"Does anyone else agree that Perry is now washed up?" someone else asked.

Meanwhile, over on TikTok, the takedowns kept coming.

"This is the worst choreography I’ve ever seen in my life," one person wrote, while another quipped, "It’s giving school talent show."

Yet another joked, "This looks like an 'SNL' skit."

Some fans even threw shade at Perry’s recent Blue Origin space flight, with one TikToker commenting, "Guess those 11 mins she spent in space could have been better spent on choreography."

Another user agreed: "Too much space travel. She’s not used to being back on the ground."

Katy Perry’s Fans Defend Her After 'Lifetimes' Tour Mockery

The harsh reaction comes just days after Perry directly addressed criticism over her spaceflight, telling her audience on opening night, "Has anyone ever called your dreams crazy?"

She also kept the space theme alive during the show, flying across the stage, posing with fans in NASA-style suits, and wearing an array of futuristic costumes.

While the haters were loud, some loyal KatyCats came to her defense, reminding the internet that Perry’s quirky, offbeat style has always been part of her brand.

"Y’all don’t understand Katy is weird like this and always has been," one fan wrote on X, while another added, "She’s having fun; leave the woman alone."

Katy Perry might be shooting for the stars with her "Lifetimes" tour, but according to new reports, ticket sales are falling way short of liftoff.

Sources tell Daily Mail that the pop star’s tour has been plagued by “dismal” sales from the very beginning, even before she embarked on her headline-making all-female Blue Origin space trip. Insiders say executives at Live Nation have been left scratching their heads, with official Ticketmaster seat maps showing many of Perry’s U.S. dates still wide open.

"There were already concerns about poor ticket sales even before Blue Origin," a source told the outlet. "They were pretty dismal. Katy truly believed her tour would take off like Taylor's."

The insider added, "Some higher-ups at Live Nation were skeptical from the beginning. There are talks about what to do if the venues don't fill up further."

Ticketmaster seat maps show particularly low numbers for Katy’s shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Denver, Colorado, where entire rows remain available. Things aren’t looking much better for her May 9 stop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with multiple rows of seats still unclaimed.

Still, it’s not all bad news for the "Firework" singer.

Katy Perry’s Tour Faces Brutal Criticism, But Sold-Out Shows Say Otherwise

Perry is reportedly seeing stronger ticket sales in select cities, including her upcoming Chicago show on May 12 and several international dates.

Seat maps for concerts in Edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto later this summer show large sections already booked, and overwhelming demand in Europe and Australia even forced her to add extra shows.

While social media has been savage about her robotic dance moves and "school talent show" energy, Perry’s loyal fans are standing by her side, defending the singer’s quirky style and praising her for always staying true to herself.
