"Headphones On" comes after "High Fashion," "Aquamarine," and "Diet Pepsi." Rae has proved time and again that she can achieve success in whatever she does as both the track and its black-and-white music video have continued to gain further traction on several online platforms.
Just like pop stars Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, The 1975, Lorde, Tinashe, Caroline Polachek, and more as contributors, Rae was also included in Charli XCX's newly-released Brat remix album. She appeared on the latter's "von dutch" A.G. Cook remix, marking her second collaboration with the English singer, who was a guest feature on Rae's debut extended-play AR for the the track "2 die 4."
Addison Rae's 'Hypnotic' Singles

"What she shares are hypnotic, trance-like pop songs, pulsating and lush, which will no doubt accomplish the primary goal of Rae and her collaborators: to make people dance," wrote Rolling Stone for their cover story. "The lyrics are threaded with images of a life that’s young, fun, and free: being naked on a beach, flying to Paris on a whim, being drunk at a bar. There’s no ego or self-seriousness; as we hear her exclaim 'I’m the richest girl in the world!' toward the end of one track, she laughs at herself with her whole body from behind the wheel."
