Jessica Simpson Told Swimsuit Photo With 6-Year-Old Daughter 'Irresponsible'

Jessica Simpson is stunning fans with her summer swimsuit energy as she promotes her clothing brand and includes daughter Birdie Mae in her shoot. Shortly before the weekend, the 44-year-old plugged her fashion empire in a series of Instagram snaps, opening her gallery in a bathing suit while twinning with 6-year-old Birdie. Flaunting her killer figure, Jessica sizzled in a plunging one-piece, with little Birdie matching her mom in a yellow bikini. Fans on Jessica's Instagram largely sent love, but users elsewhere raised eyebrows.

Scroll for the photo. Sending out Western vibes in a funky pair of cowboy boots as she and Birdie stood on a porch, Jessica wowed in a tight yellow swimsuit with an eye-popping neckline. Smiling down at her youngest daughter, the Dukes of Hazzard star teamed her swimwear with red knee boots, also slinging a patterned scarf over one arm.

Meanwhile, little Birdie looked cute as a button in a matching two-piece version of her mother's look.

Further images in the gallery showed Jessica back in her one-piece as she posed from a table, although she did model other looks. In one slide, the blonde rocked a tight tank top, bandana, and shades, showing off a gorgeous glowy face of makeup with plenty of bronzer. Another snap, meanwhile, showed Jessica in a bell-bottom pair of dark blue jeans paired with a peasant-girl top. Jessica even went all gas station bombshell in a flirty black miniskirt and crop top.

In a caption, she wrote: "Being on set with my Birdie was so special! There’s just something magical about seeing my kids in front of the camera.  It’s beautiful to witness the confidence and playfulness my kids give in the moment. We had so much fun together," also calling Birdie a "little ham."

The post was shared jointly with the Jessica Simpson Style Instagram. While it gained plenty of fan love and a celebrity like from model Carmen Electra, users on The Daily Mail quickly shaded the whole thing.

Over 70 fans agreed when one user replied: "She needs to put clothes on that baby and not post her in a bathing suit and boots- so irresponsible in this day and age." Another accused Jessica of using her child to promote her brand as they likened her to a Kardashian.

A further fan said that they would "never" showcase their kid online "like that" for fear of there being "too many creeps."

Jessica Simpson regularly shares photos of her kids, with the above one seeing her admitting that children Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie make their mom "beam." The star shares her kids with estranged husband Eric Johnson, with whom she recently ended ten years of marriage.
