Three-year-old Prince Carter, son of the late pop star Aaron Carter, made his very first red carpet appearance this week, joining his mother, Melanie Martin, at the Los Angeles screening of "The Carters: Hurts To Love You," a new documentary examining the impact of early fame on Aaron and his family.
In a touching moment that underscored the emotional weight of the evening, Martin held her young son close as they posed for photographers at the event.
Prince, bearing a striking resemblance to his father with tousled blond hair and soulful brown eyes, looked every bit the mini Aaron Carter.

Dressed in a black leather jacket, dark jeans, and a pair of Batman sneakers, the toddler charmed onlookers while clinging comfortably to his mother’s shoulder.
Martin brought her own sophisticated style to the evening, donning a gray turtleneck sweater dress with a high slit, nude-and-clear heels, silver accessories, and long earrings. Her mermaid-style waves and full glam makeup completed the polished look.
Also showing her support was Aaron’s twin sister, Angel Carter Conrad, who warmly posed with her nephew in a black dress featuring sheer sleeves.

The event drew several familiar faces from the entertainment world, including Tori Spelling, David Arquette, Tallulah Willis, and Rebecca Gayheart, who turned out to honor Aaron’s memory and support the family.
Aaron Carter tragically passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 34. He was discovered in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California home. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later determined his death was accidental, caused by drowning while under the influence of difluoroethane, a flammable gas, and alprazolam, a generic version of Xanax.
His passing came just two months after he had voluntarily entered an outpatient rehab program, hoping to regain custody of Prince, who was only 9 months old at the time. Martin had been granted full temporary custody following concerns over domestic violence and drug use, as outlined in a court mandate.

Their relationship, which began in 2020, was marked by multiple breakups and reconciliations. Martin had previously accused Aaron of breaking three of her ribs during a domestic altercation, an allegation he strongly denied.
In the wake of Aaron’s sudden death, Martin was overcome with grief.
“I knew he was struggling, and I tried everything to help him. He has a very independent and strong personality, and I couldn’t help him in the way I felt he needed it,” she shared at the time.

A year after the heartbreaking loss of his younger brother, Aaron Carter, Nick Carter opened up about the grief that still lingers.
In a candid interview with E! News, the Backstreet Boys singer shared that he's still coming to terms with Aaron’s sudden passing on November 5, 2022, at the age of 34. "It's still unbelievable to me," Nick admitted. "I'm still processing the whole situation and trying to make sense of it, because it hasn't."
"But I'm hoping that one day I can make sense of it all," he added, expressing a hope shared by many who have experienced the sudden loss of a loved one.
For Nick, one of the most painful parts of the loss is the finality, the fact that there's no longer an opportunity for reconciliation or brotherly connection. "No matter what he and I had gone through in our lives, we always were able to make amends, always were able to get back to that place, and now I can't anymore, and it hurts," he shared.
