According to the New York Post, after spending six days at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Jeffrey Epstein's victim, Virginia Giuffre, has been released to recuperate from home.

The 41-year-old was at the hospital receiving treatment after her vehicle was involved in an accident with a school bus.

At the time, Giuffre posted from the hospital bed that she had "four days to live" and was suffering from Kidney Renal Failure, seemingly due to complications from the accident.

Giuffre also shared a photo showing her face badly bruised, which made many think the injuries were a result of the car accident.

Much of the public sympathy Giuffre initially received over her bus accident story faded after police reports described the incident as a "minor collision" with no reported injuries.

Social media users were quick to accuse her of exaggerating the situation. However, a representative for Giuffre maintained that she only sought hospital care after her condition began to worsen.

Her family has since claimed Giuffre had "thought that she had posted on her private Facebook page."

They also shared more details about the crash, including the exact time it occurred (March 4) and that the bus that hit Giuffre's ride was full of "distraught children."

"The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene. They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital," the family noted, per People.

Days after dramatically announcing that she only had a few days to live, Giuffre made another bombshell revelation.

She claimed that for years, she had been abused by her husband, Robert, who she is now estranged from.

"I was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, who abused and trafficked me," the 41-year-old wrote in a statement to People Magazine.

She added, "But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband's latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent."

"Again, I thank everyone for their support. I have faith that justice will prevail," she concluded.

Still, there are currently no charges against Robert in relation to the alleged assault or for any other crime.

Additional details about the physical abuse Virginia Giuffre has allegedly suffered at the hands of her husband have been shared by her loved ones.

Giuffre's sister-in-law, Amanda, revealed that the CEO of Victims Refuse Silence "almost died" from injuries sustained during what she described as the "last incident" with her husband.

"I think the last incident that they had, she almost died," Amanda told the outlet. "And we had to speak that truth with her on the phone. And I think she had acknowledged that if she had one more instance with him, she wasn't making it out of there."

Meanwhile, Giuffre's brother, Sky, hinted that the damage to his sister's organs was from years of alleged abuse from her husband rather than the bus crash.

Giuffre and Robert have been living separately for some time, and both are currently under a restraining order that prevents them from contacting each other.

The order was filed by Robert, who told authorities that Giuffre had become violent during a trip meant to celebrate one of their children's birthdays.

In the interview with People Magazine, Giuffre's brother claimed that Robert was actually the abuser in the incident and was fortunate enough to secure the restraining order first, leaving his sister "on the defense."

He also clarified that Giuffre's disclosure about her domestic violence situation was not an attempt to avoid a court appearance related to her recent violation of the restraining order.
