Kanye 'Ye' West is not staying silent as serious accusations swirl around his Yeezy brand.

Ye's legal team is demanding the hostile workspace case be tossed, slamming the claims as not factual and without merit. The lawsuit, filed by some adults and teens who worked with West during the production of his last studio album, demands a hefty $1 million in damages.

The controversy began when a group of young creatives alleged they endured a hostile work environment under Kanye' Ye' West's direction.

Ye's fashion empire is clapping back hard at a group of teenage collaborators' lawsuit, and they are not just asking for the case to be dropped; they claim the case is built without a factual foundation.

In new court filings, Yeezy demands that the plaintiffs cover the brand's legal expenses. Ye's legal team insists the claims lack evidence and are trying to unfairly pin responsibility on the company for actions allegedly taken by unrelated individuals.

"Instead, the Complaint relies on conclusory allegations and seeks to impute liability to Yeezy LLC for conduct allegedly committed by other individuals or entities, without establishing a factual or legal basis for doing so," the filing stated.

In the documents obtained by InTouch, Yeezy's attorney argued the suit fails to show any direct link between the plaintiffs and the company. The lawyer also stated, "Defendant alleges that Plaintiffs consented to the conditions and terms of work, barring certain claims."

Back in December 2024, The Blast revealed that former collaborators, including four teens and adult plaintiffs Shemar Dacosta, Pholoso Mofokeng, Miles Jackson-Lea, and Olakunle Olatunji, pushed for a default judgment against the Yeezy brand, demanding $1 million in damages.

The group claimed they were brought on to help develop a streaming app tied to Ye's Vultures 2 album but instead found themselves in a toxic environment riddled with harassment and inappropriate content.

The plaintiffs reportedly alleged mistreatment based on their race and sexual orientation. Further, they accused Ye's ex-wife, Bianca Censori, of distributing explicit files related to an adult film project he was allegedly planning.

The company reportedly ignored the bombshell lawsuit accusing it of exploiting teen workers, and so the plaintiffs fought back by seeking a default judgment worth $2.4 million.

Each plaintiff requested $300,000 in damages, while their attorney demanded compensation for unpaid wages, emotional trauma, and punitive damages.

The attorney slammed Yeezy's alleged misconduct, accusing the company of deliberately "recruiting minors, subjecting them to abusive working conditions, and then refusing to pay them for their work."

The legal team argued that punitive damages were necessary to punish Yeezy and prevent similar treatment of future workers.

Ye and his former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, were named as the driving forces behind the alleged exploitative work environment that left the teenage developers emotionally and financially drained.

The group claimed they were promised $120,000 if they completed a streaming app for Ye's Vultures 2 rollout and "agreed to the work conditions" without objection.

Despite meeting their deadline on May 24, 2024, the team claimed they were ghosted by Yeezy, receiving no compensation.

Instead, the teens also alleged they were pressured into signing NDAs under threats and were later forced to sign "volunteer" agreements, waiving pay entirely.

Working remotely, the group regularly updated Ye and Yiannopoulos via Slack and other platforms.

Amid the ongoing legal drama, Yiannopoulos stepped down as Ye's chief of staff, distancing himself from Yeezy's pivot toward adult content.

The Blast reported that his resignation was not tied directly to the hostile workplace lawsuit but rather to the star's new venture into the porn industry, a move Yiannopoulos found morally troubling.

In a formal resignation letter, he made it clear that, as a recovering addict and former homosexual, contributing to adult material posed an "imminent danger" to his life.

While expressing his well wishes for Ye's future endeavors, Yiannopoulos also voiced skepticism about the rapper's new team and urged caution moving forward.

He also left the possibility of a return open, stating he would gladly serve again if the company "publicly and permanently" dropped its adult content ambitions.

With both sides digging in, the question is whether Kanye 'Ye' West will walk away unscathed or if this lawsuit will finally crack the foundation of his empire.
