Over the weekend, Sydney Sweeney accompanied her "Anyone But You" costar, Glen Powell, to his sister's wedding.
While the duo's outing caused a stir online due to them previously sparking romance rumors while promoting their film, Sweeney's outfit for the event is what truly set tongues wagging.
This comes after it was confirmed that Sydney Sweeney had called off her wedding to her fiancé, Jonathan Davino.

Sweeney's baby blue dress at Powell's sister's wedding has divided fans, with many branding the outfit "inappropriate" for the event.
The "Euphoria" star looked stunning in her outfit, which was made of a corset-style bodice and ruffled maxi skirt.
Although the bride, Powell's sister, seemed very happy with Sweeney, as seen in photos shared online, fans took to social media to criticize the actress for rocking a dress that looked more white than blue.
One person said, "LOVE Sydney but that dress is too light of a blue for a wedding. The #1 of a wedding is DONT WEAR ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE TO WHITE."
Another argued, "Bringing SydneySweeney to a wedding is worse than wearing white, this is supposed to be the bride's day."
However, several defended the actress, saying the bride looked happy to have Sweeney at the event.
Someone wrote on X, "Any bride that is offended by a blue dress doesn't deserve a wedding."
Another noted, "It's literally the color the bride lick for the wedding party to wear even the men have the same color for their shirts."
The Actress Called Off Her Wedding To Jonathan Davino

The latest discourse comes after it was revealed that Sweeney had "called off" her wedding to her fiancé as they were allegedly dealing with "major issues."
The couple started dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022, and their nuptials were understood to be set for May this year.
However, sources with insider knowledge cited "major issues" as to why Sweeney called off the wedding, though it remains unclear if the couple has officially ended their relationship.
The insider told the Daily Mail that Sweeney and Davino were going through a "rough patch" and trying to "reassess" whether they should remain together.
The actress has not been seen with Davino since January and has reportedly been staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel since mid-February amid their alleged relationship troubles.
Sweeney further fueled the split rumors this week when she deleted a picture of her and Davino kissing from an Instagram album she had posted to celebrate the new year.
Sydney Sweeney 'Didn't Feel Right' About A Wedding

People Magazine recently confirmed that the pair had called off their wedding. A source close to the situation told the news outlet that the actress did not "right" about marrying Davino.
The source also noted that, unlike most people, Sweeney was not "overwhelmed" by her work and was instead stressed about a potential wedding.
"She's exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects," the source said.
They added, "What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it."
The Former Couple Has Been Having 'Major Issues'

Another source told Us Weekly that Sweeney and Davino have been dealing with issues in their romance.
The insider said, "Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split. Things are not great right now, but they aren't throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now."
"They were supposed to get married this spring. The wedding is not happening, and they aren't having further discussions about it. Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn't handle the stress," the insider further claimed.
The source added, "A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments."
Did Sydney Sweeney's Busy Work Schedule Put A Strain On Her Relationship?

Sweeney's Hollywood career is currently on the rise, and her demanding work schedule may have led to relationship troubles with her ex-fiancé.
Since becoming a known Hollywood figure with her breakout role as Cassie Howard on "Euphoria," Sweeney has gone on to star in hits like "Anyone But You," "The White Lotus," and "Immaculate," to mention a few.
The source further told Us Weekly that Sweeney "doesn't have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together."
"Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her costars. It's a tough dynamic for Jonathan," they added.
