Lisa Rinna recently opened up about her decision to leave "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after starring on the show for eight years.

During an episode of the "Therapuss" podcast with Jake Shane, Lisa Rinna, who quit the show in 2023, revealed she didn't leave the show because she feuded with the women but because of her relationship with the fans.

When Rinna first joined the series in 2014, Bravo fans loved the actress because she was committed to keeping her fellow co-stars honest in front of the cameras.

However, toward the end of her run, Rinna started receiving a lot of negative pushback from the show's fans, especially because of her harsh treatment toward Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Crystal Kung-Minkoff.

According to Rinna, the negativity "got very difficult" to deal with because Bravo has a large social media fanbase.

She explained that "everybody got really comfortable behind their computers, saying anything" before saying that "the fans" pushed her off the show.

"It wasn't Bravo," she continued. "It wasn't the girls. It was the fan base. They villainized me in a way that I just didn't want to live like that anymore. And that is the truth."

Rinna, who starred in shows like "Days of Our Lives" and "Melrose Place" before "RHOBH," wanted to make sure Bravo fans knew that "it's because of them that I left the show."

"... that’s something that I don’t think they want to take responsibility for,” she said. “That’s the truth. I left because the fan base turned on me."

During a previous interview, Rinna revealed Bravo watchers had become increasingly "violent" toward her, even sending her "death threats."

"Some of the most horrible things I've ever seen in print, and it's a reality show! It's a stupid show! I thought: 'It's time to go.' I'm not sure how much longer that can exist in the zeitgeist," she said.

Rinna revealed that before she officially decided to walk away from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she felt her mother, Lois, who had passed away in 2021, guiding her to leave.

"She came to me," Rinna stated. "I was sleeping, and I heard her say to me: 'It's time for you to go.'"

Rinna ended up meeting with a psychic, who confirmed that her mother, Lois, was also telling her to instruct the actress to exit the reality series.

"I've never told anybody that except for the psychic. I'm guided by my mom, for sure," she said.

Recent Changes To ‘RHOBH'

Another "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star who made waves when announcing her departure is Beauvais.

For those unfamiliar, the Netflix actress joined the series during its tenth season in 2020, replacing OG Lisa Vanderpump.

During her run, she had her share of tense feuds with several of the women, namely Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and, of course, Rinna.

In March 2025, however, Beauvais shared a message on Instagram, letting her fans know that she'd decided to leave.

In her exit video, she mentioned the "amazing" moments before thanking fans for sticking by her side during such a "wild ride."

She also cited her family, specifically her twin sons, as part of the reason she's moving on before mentioning the "exciting projects" that are filling her schedule.

At the end of her message, she teased fans by letting them know that Andy Cohen, the show's executive producer, told her she could return at any time.

"So, you never know," she said.

Rinna’s Co-Star Is Facing Heat Currently

Rinna isn't the only one who's faced heat from the Bravoverse. After Beauvais' departure announcement, Jayne, who joined the series in 2015, began catching flack after throwing shade at the former during an earlier episode.

"Imagine being in your 50s still playing the "cool girl" while masking jealousy, hypocrisy, [and] misery," one user on X wrote. "Erika is jealous of Garcelle's success, her active career in Hollywood, and all [of] the love she gets."

Another fan chimed in and shared a much stronger opinion, even calling Jayne a "racist."

"Erika, you racist b-tch!" they posted. "Garcelle doesn't owe you a f-cking struggle because you're poor and tired."

A third viewer agreed and called Jayne "so pathetic."

"At the end of the day, Garcelle can walk away from #RHOBH, and she has MULTIPLE jobs. Erika has to stay on the show to promote her music that [no one] listens to [and] fund the wallpaper in another RENTAL of hers. That's why she's mad," they finished.
