Jen Affleck is no stranger to hearing people's negative opinions and thoughts about her marriage to Zac Affleck.
"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star recently sent a pretty clear message out to her Instagram followers on how she feels about what people are saying about her marriage. She shared a little insight about why she is unbothered and not listening to the loud screams of the critics.
Jen Affleck Shares Her Thoughts On Negative Chatter About Her Marriage

After sharing her life in season one of the hit Hulu reality series, "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," many viewers have shared their thoughts about Jen's marriage, and a lot of the opinions are quite negative. It appeared that the negativity was being ignored by the reality star, who hasn't really addressed the comments on social media.
When Jen announced her pregnancy online back in February, even more negative responses filled the comment sections on her social media pages. And again, more harsh opinions were shared when she posted a video of her with her husband in Vegas at a Chippendale's show. (Fans of the show know all about what happened when Jen went on a girls' trip to Vegas and ended up at Chippendales last year.)
'I Don't Care What Anyone Thinks About My Marriage'

After hearing and reading so many negative thoughts about her marriage, Jen finally addressed the haters in a recent Instagram Story.
"I don't care what anyone thinks about my marriage. At the end of the day, I'll always prioritize what's best for me regardless of others' opinions," she wrote.
"The truth about marriage and raising kids is that it's challenging. There will be ups and downs, and mistakes will be made. But as long as both partners are committed to choosing each other and putting in the effort, that's what truly matters."
Her short but to the point explanation on how she's feeling about the negativity was written over a short video of her and Zac looking happy and in love.
Jen And Zac Affleck Recently Went To A Chippendales Show In Las Vegas
A few weeks ago, Jen was spotted at a place most fans would have never imagined she would be spotted at again - a Chippendales show in Las Vegas. As avid viewers of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" know, that's where she ended up having a big fight with her husband because he didn't want her to be there while she was on a girls' trip with the rest of the MomTok crew. But this time around, Zac was with her, which confused everyone a bit.
Jen shared a video on TikTok that shows the couple at the show in Vegas. She captioned it, "This is what I like to call exposure therapy," and added, "#marriage #chippendales #trauma."
It didn't take long before viewers jumped into the comment section to share their thoughts and confusion.
"All this shows is he’s controlling and narcissistic. Sad," one viewer wrote. Another added, "I really hope this isn’t just an act to make everyone like him right before a new season comes out."
Many Fans Were Confused When Jen Affleck Announced Her Pregnancy
When Jen announced that she was expecting her third baby with Zac, it didn't take long for people to bring the negativity to her news. What should have been a happy life announcement was met with conflict as many believe she's in an abusive relationship and should have been announcing a divorce instead of a baby.
"And we all thought the announcement would be a divorce," one viewer shared in the comment section. Another added, "It’s giving we had a baby to fix things." One other viewer said, "Dude please get therapy. You are an extremely toxic and manipulative husband. She and your kids deserve better."
But for every negative comment, there was a positive, supportive one.
"Aw congrats! There will never be a moment that a baby won't be a gift and blessing. So happy for you and your family! Prayers for a healthy baby and pregnancy," one person wrote. Another shared, "These comments are so mean. You deserve to be happy and excited about your pregnancy. I’m wishing you a healthy pregnancy & safe delivery."
