Jesse Williams loses his motion to obtain information about his ex-wife's boyfriend as their custody battle reaches a favorable conclusion.
The "Grey's Anatomy" star has been locked in a heated war with his former partner, Aryn Drake-Lee, since September 2024. The TV personality fought for equal time share with his kids and sole legal custody of their healthcare.
Jesse Williams and his ex-wife traded scathing allegations against each other, with the latter accusing him of bullying. Meanwhile, the actor slammed Aryn Drake-Lee as a troublemaker, claiming she had a history of "erratic" behavior.
Jesse Williams' Lost His Plea For Transparency About His Ex-Wife's Boyfriend

Williams and Drake-Lee faced off in court at a hearing last week, with reports noting the entertainer lost his plea for details about his ex-wife's lover, Peace Reedburg. He pushed for transparency after realizing his former partner's new beau had access to their two children without his knowledge.
However, the judge denied his request for information about Reedburg. Williams ultimately won the custody war despite losing this battle, as his other demands were accepted.
The legal umpire granted him full legal custody of his children's healthcare and the responsibility of informing Drake-Lee about their kids' health, education, and welfare.
Williams' victory continued with favorable time share conditions, featuring a 50/50 arrangement. The minutes from the hearing obtained by In Touch read:
"The parties shall have three consecutive weeks for vacation during the summer every year, with each parent choosing a week between their two custodial weeks to comprise the three weeks."

The entertainer welcomed two children with Drake-Lee: a daughter named Sadie and a son, Maceo. In his initial custodial filing, Williams accused his ex-wife of taking the Apple Watch he purchased for their daughter and refusing to return it.
The judge addressed the issue in the hearing, admonishing Drake-Lee for the action. She was ordered to return the gift within 48 hours of the hearing. The decision was a big win for Williams, who has been vocal about his undying love and close relationship with his children throughout the custody battle.
In his previous declaration for 50/50 custody, Williams told the judge, "The children and I are crazy about each other, and we have a deeply loving, active, and closely bonded relationship. There is absolutely no reason why Aryn should have more custodial time with the children than me."

In his declaration, Williams stressed that he made significant changes to his lifestyle to accommodate his children's request to spend more time with them. He noted he moved closer to Drake-Lee's house to make transitions easier but believed the time allocated to him made the change inefficient.
"Even with proximity, the number of transitions is unnecessarily challenging for our children and causes unnecessary interactions between me and Aryn," Williams lamented. Although Drake-Lee did not oppose his request for more time with their children, she argued it must be granted on her terms.
The Blast covered the story, reporting Drake-Lee agreed to equal time share with Williams as long as she had their kids whenever he left town. She opposed him leaving them with a third party and took things further with bullying allegations, among other scathing claims about her ex-husband's behavior.

Drake-Lee came out guns blazing in her custody filings, accusing Williams of frequently pestering her. She claimed he "bullies, intimidates, and harasses" her, attempting to coerce her into following his orders while refusing to do the same.
The concerned mother alleged her ex-husband was selfish, stressing that his proposed changes to their timeshare agreement revolved around his needs. Drake-Lee claimed he did so at the expense of their "children's mental, psychological, emotional, and physical health."
However, Williams vehemently denied the allegations and labeled Drake-Lee problematic. "Aryn makes erratic and conclusory statements which have no relationship to reality, which is why she has never presented a single example of 'bullying' etc. ever happening," he argued.
Jesse Williams Accused His Ex-Wife Of Interfering With His Parent Time

Williams argued that Drake-Lee's claims of bullying stemmed from his refusal to back down whenever she disrupted his time with their children. He detailed several instances of her alleged behavior, claiming she withheld their children's passports and removed them from school on his designated days.
Additionally, Williams accused Drake-Lee of giving him false information about their children's extracurricular schedules to prevent him from attending. He also bashed her for enrolling their kids in camps without consultation and billing him for the costs.
The accusations continued, with the actor stating his ex would take the gifts he got for their children. Because of Drake-Lee's alleged actions, Williams pushed to have sole custody of their kid's medical care. He stressed that she had been "combative and evasive" when making important health decisions.
