Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, have reportedly called off their planned wedding amid rumors that their relationship has deteriorated.
The actress's busy schedule appears to be a cause of concern for Davino, as he wants to spend more time with her, but she's focused on her budding Hollywood career.
Sources previously shared that Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino "decided to stay away from each other" to consider whether or not they want to "save their relationship."
Sydney Sweeney Halts Wedding To Jonathan Davino

Sweeney has reportedly slammed the brakes on tying the knot with her fiancé, Davino.
The pair started dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022, with their wedding understood to be set for May this year.
The couple has maintained a relatively private relationship since they started dating, as they're scarcely seen together in public.
However, sources with insider knowledge have cited "major issues" as the reason for the delay, though it remains unclear if the couple has officially ended their relationship, per the Daily Mail.
The insider told the news outlet that Sweeney and Davino were going through a "rough patch" and trying to "reassess" whether they ought to remain together at all.
The "Euphoria" star has not been seen with Davino since January and has reportedly been staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel since mid-February amid their alleged relationship troubles.
She further ignited rumors earlier this week when she deleted a picture of her and Davino kissing from an Instagram album she had posted to celebrate the new year.
The Couple Has Allegedly Cancelled Their Wedding

Meanwhile, another source told Us Weekly that Sweeney and Davino have "called off the wedding" altogether but have yet to break up.
"Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split. Things are not great right now, but they aren't throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now," the insider said.
They continued, "They were supposed to get married this spring. The wedding is not happening, and they aren't having further discussions about it. Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn't handle the stress."
"A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments," the insider further claimed.
Sydney Sweeney's Busy Schedule May Have Been An Issue For Jonathan Davino

Indeed, it appears that Sweeney's demanding career schedule is the cause of her relationship troubles with Davino.
Since becoming a known Hollywood figure with her breakout role as Cassie Howard on "Euphoria," she has gone on to star in hits like "Anyone But You," "The White Lotus," and "Immaculate," to mention a few.
She also has several projects in the pipeline amongst which is her return on "Euphoria," as well as the remake of the 1960s Jane Fonda's classic "Barbarella."
The source further told Us Weekly that Sweeney "doesn't have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together."
"Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her costars. It's a tough dynamic for Jonathan," they added.
Friends Fear The Couple Is Heading For A Breakup

The situation of things between the couple has seemingly left their friends fearing they're heading to a permanent split.
In a 2023 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she confessed that she wasn't able to focus on her wedding plans because "I am so busy working! I'm a workaholic and I love it, I love it."
Her stance has seemingly not changed, as she also explained last year that her drive to earn money comes from the financial struggles her family endured during her childhood years.
A source told the Daily Mail that her "career is booming, and she is nurturing that," seemingly suggesting that she's not ready to let her feet off the gas.
"To settle down now might be the wrong thing to do. Sydney wants a family, and wants to be married, but not as soon as she originally anticipated and not as soon as Jonathan wants. So, there is a disconnect between them both," they continued.
The source claimed that Sweeney and Davino "don't want to break up officially, but friends fear that is where they are heading," adding that the 41-year-old is "older than her and she is just getting into a big part of her life professionally."
"She has to figure out what is most important to her," they added.
Sydney Sweeney Calls Out Hollywood's 'Fake' 'Women Empowering Other Women' Stance

In a past interview with Vanity Fair, Sweeney called out the "fake" culture of Hollywood's supposed commitment to "women empowering other women."
"It's very disheartening to see women tear other women down," Sweeney told the publication. "Especially when women who are successful in other avenues of their industry see younger talent working really hard — hoping to achieve whatever dreams that they may have — and then trying to bash and discredit any work that they've done."
The actress and her team recently had to fight back against a female producer, Carol Baum, who questioned her looks and talent.
While Sweeney did emerge stronger, the experience made it evident to her that the women's empowerment rhetoric was nothing more than a façade.
"This entire industry, all people say is 'Women empowering other women.' None of it's happening," the "Euphoria" star noted. "All of it is fake and a front for all the other sh-t that they say behind everyone's back."
