Ivanka Trump is kicking her fitness game up a notch, literally.
The former first daughter flaunted her martial arts progress on social media Friday in a video posted by the Valente Brothers, a trio of jiu-jitsu instructors whose Miami-based studio has become a go-to for elite clientele. Among the trio is Joaquim Valente, best known as supermodel Gisele Bündchen’s boyfriend and training partner.
Clad in a traditional white robe and blue belt, a rank that typically requires at least two years of consistent training, Ivanka Trump confidently faced off against Gui Valente on the studio’s blue mat.

Joaquim and the rest of the Valente family, including brother Pedro and their father Pedro Sr., were also present, appearing at the end of the clip with respectful bows.
“Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial art,” the Valente Brothers captioned their post. “Rooted in ancient tradition and refined over generations, it offers a path to physical confidence, mental clarity, and emotional balance.”
They also shared how special it is to train alongside someone like Ivanka. “What makes the journey even more meaningful is sharing it with those we respect and value," they wrote. "As families, training together gives us the rare gift of growing side by side, on the mat and in life.”

Trump, who has largely stayed out of politics since her father left the White House, has been embracing a wellness-forward lifestyle in South Florida with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children.
In February, she showed off her toned abs in a mirror selfie, captioning it, “Let’s keep going! Strong body / Strong mind!”
Jiu-jitsu appears to be a shared interest between Trump and Bündchen, who also trains at the Valente Brothers’ academy. The Brazilian supermodel has raved about the confidence and empowerment she’s gained through the sport, previously writing on Instagram, “I feel stronger, more confident and empowered since I started practicing self-defense... I feel it’s an important skill for all, but especially for us women.”

Bündchen and Joaquim reportedly met in 2021 when her son Benjamin began taking classes at the studio. Their relationship blossomed after her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady, and the couple now share a child together.
Though it's unclear if Ivanka and Gisele have trained together, the two women reportedly follow each other on Instagram, suggesting a potential connection through their shared love of jiu-jitsu and Miami lifestyle.
Ivanka Reveals Family's Surprising Wellness Habit Sparked By Daughter Arabella

Trump recently got candid about her family’s surprising new wellness ritual, jiu-jitsu, and how a simple request from her teenage daughter evolved into a full-on family affair.
In a rare appearance on "The Skinny Confidential" podcast, the 43-year-old businesswoman and former senior advisor opened up about her family's growing commitment to the martial art, revealing it all began with 13-year-old Arabella’s interest in self-defense.
“Arabella expressed a desire to learn self-defense,” Trump explained, adding that what started as a way to support her daughter quickly became a shared passion across the entire Trump-Kushner household.
“It is good for everyone,” she said, noting that her husband, Jared Kushner, and their two sons, Joseph, 11, and Theodore, 8, also train regularly. Trump, who now holds a blue belt, described jiu-jitsu as both physically and mentally rewarding.
“It’s almost like a moving meditation because the movements are so micro,” she shared. “It’s like three-dimensional chess. It’s fun,” she continued, adding that the practice “combines physical movements and philosophy in an amazing way.”
Ivanka Trump Opens Up About Surfing, Sports, And Staying Grounded As 2024 Campaign Looms

Despite her athleticism, Trump admitted she’s “never been a gym person” and instead prefers staying active through a variety of sports. “I love sports,” she said. “I love surfing but that's a recent thing. I love racquet sports.”
The daughter of President-elect Donald Trump also took the opportunity to reflect on her personal journey, balancing her entrepreneurial ventures, public service, and family life. From launching her own fashion brand to spearheading family-focused policies during her time in the Trump administration, she spoke about the values that have shaped her path forward.
She even touched on her father's upcoming campaign, hinting at a renewed dedication to issues close to her heart. While she’s stepped back from the political spotlight in recent years, Ivanka emphasized her continued focus on driving change where it matters most.
