The 25-year-old pop star was swarmed by photographers as she left a Paris restaurant, with members of her team shielding her from the flashing lights using a sequined purple cloth. During her tour stop at Paris’s Accor Arena, the singer performed her song "Juno" with a risqué twist simulating a ménage à trois, specifically mimicking the Eiffel Tower sex position, with two male backup dancers. The choreography, which included suggestive gestures and flirtatious mic work, was captured by fans and quickly made the rounds online.

“I’m sorry but there are little kids in the audience and this is taking it way too far,” one concerned fan posted.

Since the tour’s June 20 kickoff, Carpenter has been acting out various steamy positions to match the song's tone, which actually has a connection to the movie of the same name.

Songwriter Amy Allen, who worked with Carpenter on both her "Short n’ Sweet" and "Emails I Can’t Send" albums, told Us Weekly last year that the fan-favorite indie film was a direct inspiration for the track.

“I’m so grateful to have her as a collaborator for moments like that, because I think being a pop songwriter, like, five years ago, if somebody had come in with that concept, that would’ve been like, ‘I’m not sure people will get that,’” she said in December 2024.

“But because she’s so authentic and her artistry is so intact and she knows who she is, the second she started talking about her idea for that, I was like, ‘Oh, we’re doing this, it’s gonna be great and it’s gonna be witty and it’s gonna be heartfelt,’” Allen continued. “She’s such a fearless leader with ideas like that.”
