Kim Kardashian is more concerned about her children's well-being than her tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband, Kanye 'Ye' West.

The TV personality made headlines in recent weeks over the rapper's controversial comments, rants, and insistence on fighting her at every turn. Their co-parenting union is more or less broken over their differences, with "The Kardashians" star seeing her ex as a threat to their kids.

Kim Kardashian welcomed four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, during her marriage to Kanye 'Ye' West. They appeared to be the ultimate power couple for years before the cracks in their marriage became public in 2021.

Although Ye was no stranger to being canceled for his controversial opinions and antisemitic views, Kim has never experienced the full wrath of his social media meltdowns. Despite her ex vehemently attacking her and her family, the mother of four was more concerned about his actions affecting their kids.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge about the situation alleged Kim was "devastated" and worried about her children's safety. They noted she desperately tried to protect her kids from anything that might influence their perception of Ye or their relationship with him as their father.

While some might argue that Ye was digging his own grave and Kim owed him no allegiance, it seemed she did not want her children to lose out on having a father.

The drama between Kim and Ye recently intensified when he accused her and her family of being "sex workers." He alleged they trafficked their kids before signaling out the mother of his children as a "sex trafficker."

The sex trafficking claims stemmed from Ye's disapproval of his oldest child, North West's participation in FKA Twigs' song. His daughter also teamed up with the singer for a TikTok video, which the father found problematic, per The Blast.

Ye's anger might also be linked to Kim's decision to pull the plug on North's visit because of his association with the Tate Brothers. The rapper and his daughter were scheduled to meet when his ex-wife caught wind of Andrew and Tristan Tate's visit on the same day.

The visitation incident came up during an emergency hearing regarding North's involvement in the controversial song "Lonely Roads Still Lead To Sunshine." The track featured Ye, incarcerated music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, and his son Christian.

Kim moved against her daughter's involvement with the alleged sex offender, to Ye's displeasure. The reality TV star was reportedly "disgusted" by his decision to feature their daughter on the song, sparking claims of a renewed custody battle.

Before Ye posted and deleted the controversial track, he shared screenshots of his heated text exchange with Kim. He threatened to "go to war" with his former lover over the rights to their daughter's name. Kim trademarked North's name and attempted to use her control over it to stop the song's release.

When Ye declared he would never speak to Kim again, she tried to reason with him. The socialite explained that he initially agreed to trademark their children's names, and the rights would return to North once she turned 18.

However, she refused to budge on involving North in Diddy's drama and implored her ex-husband to cease his actions. She stressed her intent on protecting their daughter; however, her arguments and pleas did not move the rapper.

Ye threatened to seek legal action against Kim, claiming she would have to kill him before he let her have her way. He claimed the fallout would harm both of them and further bashed his ex and her family on social media, accusing them of stripping away his rights.

Ye ranted about his alleged co-parenting struggles on social media, claiming his former in-laws and the studios they worked with were against him. In a since-deleted post, he accused "the Kardashian mob," Disney, and Hulu of interfering with his kids.

The rapper claimed he could not be an active part of his children's lives because of these parties. He implied he wasn't a deciding factor in their education or lifestyle, noting, "JUST SEEING MY KIDS IS LIKE VISITATION."

"ITS LIKE IM IN PRISON 'SEEING' MY KIDS. I DONT CARE IF I LIVE OR DIE OR IF IM IN JAIL OR FREE AND I ESPECIALLY DONT CARE ABOUT WHATEVER THESE P–Y A-- CELEBRITIES GOT TO SAY THAT ARE SLAVES TO THE JEWS," Ye added.
