Another 'Selling Sunset' Pet Dies As Chrishell Stause Mourns Her 'Beloved' Dog Gracie

Chrishell Stause is mourning the loss of her beloved rescue pup, Gracie, marking another heartbreaking goodbye for the "Selling Sunset" family.

Just over a year ago, co-stars Jason Oppenheim and Mary Fitzgerald shared the devastating news of their dog Niko's passing, a familiar presence on the hit Netflix show.

Now, Chrishell Stause is grappling with a similar heartbreak as she says farewell to Gracie, a terrier mix she adopted in 2016 at six years old. 

Stause shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, posting an emotional tribute filled with sweet memories of her beloved pup. The first image in her carousel captured a touching moment, Stause cuddling Gracie during a confessional on the hit Netflix series. 

Other photos showcased Gracie snoozing and posing for a selfie alongside Stause's partner, Australian musician G Flip. The final snap featured two mugs adorned with photos of the couple, a subtle nod to their love for the little pet.

"Our beloved Gracie left us peacefully today. Thank you to anyone that was a friend to her and helped make her life here better. It's impossible to post a fraction of the joy this angel brought me," Stause wrote in her caption.

In a heartfelt gesture to honor Gracie's legacy, Stause revealed, "Gracie was adopted from the @burbankanimalshelter, and for the next week, if you tell them Gracie's name, all adoption fees will be covered."

Stause is feeling the love from friends, co-stars, and fans as she mourns the loss of her beloved rescue pup. Her partner, G Flip, shared a heartfelt message, writing, "You were the most amazing momma to Gracie darling x."

"Selling Sunset" alum Heather Rae El Moussa also expressed her sympathy, commenting, "Oh Chrishell, I'm so sorry to hear this. You are the best dog mama. Love you."

Co-star Chelsea Lazkani was especially emotional, filling her comment with crying emojis as she wrote, "I'm so happy I got to see her yesterday. Love you, Gracie."

Fans also flooded the comments with words of comfort. One supporter wrote, "Aww, I am so sorry," while another added, "There's no greater pain than losing our fur babies. She was clearly loved and loved you in return."

Stause's heartbreaking farewell to Gracie comes just over a year after co-stars Oppenheim and Fitzgerald experienced a similar loss. The Blast reports that in February 2024, they announced the passing of their longtime furry friend, Niko, who had become a fan-favorite on the hit show. 

The duo, who rescued Niko and his sister Zelda while they were dating, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, honoring the 18 years of love and joy their Chihuahua brought them.

"With the heaviest hearts, we write this letter to you, our sweet baby boy," they expressed, reminiscing on Niko's companionship. They credited their late pup with teaching them "valuable lessons," calling him "a patient, protective, and caring brother" to their other pets.

The former couple described Niko's final moments, revealing how he fought to stay with them despite his failing health. Their final words summed up the bond they shared:

"You have changed our lives forever. Until we make it to where you are, we are sending you all of our love, you are forever and always our baby boy. Our bubby, Our Niko."

Although Stause might be mourning the loss of her beloved dog, she has one constant source of support: her wife, G Flip. The TV personality has never shied away from expressing how deeply she cherishes their relationship, often describing it as something almost supernatural.

For example, in 2023, just months after their surprise Las Vegas wedding in May, The Blast reported that Stause could not stop gushing about her marriage. Speaking to Extra's Melvin Robert, she described her bond with G Flip as having "a person I can do or say anything to."

For Stause, their connection goes beyond love, it is a force of nature. "We just basically build each other up, and it feels like a superpower," she shared. The 43-year-old also admitted she is a total "softie and a lovebug"when it comes to their romance.

At the time, she was eagerly awaiting G Flip's return from their Australian tour, proving that even distance could not shake their connection.

The lovebirds have never been shy about expressing their love, and just like Stause, G Flip also shared just how deep their connection runs. In an interview, the songwriter revealed that despite their outward differences, they and Stause have far more in common than people might assume.

"We are so much more similar than you would think. I feel like aesthetically she's like this beautiful Barbie and, you know, I'm always looking; however, I'm looking," G Flip explained.

Calling Stause "awesome," the drummer also praised her unwavering support, noting that while she could not join them on one trip, she would be front and center for others. And when she does? "She likes getting front row in the mosh. She ain't standing on the side, you know?" they shared.

As Chrishell Stause grieves, the overwhelming support is a testament to the deep bond she shared with Gracie.
