DeMario Jackson's legal woes took a costly turn for him as the TV personality now owes more than $1 million in damages.
Despite the gravity of the allegations, Jackson seemed to have not done enough to address the claims brought against him, leading the court to issue a default judgment in favor of his accusers.
The case traces back to September 2022, when plaintiffs Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 took legal action, seeking over $1 million in damages. They alleged that DeMario Jackson engaged in nonconsensual sexual acts, falsely imprisoned them, and caused severe emotional distress.

Both plaintiffs, identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, sought $250,000 each for pain and suffering, along with another $250,000 each for emotional distress.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted a default judgment on Thursday, awarding a total of $1,003,644.91 to the two women. Attorney Keith M. Davidson, who represented the accusers, emphasized the importance of the ruling.
"As an advocate for survivors, we remain relentless in the pursuit of justice. The court's default judgment against DeMario Jackson is a significant step in holding him accountable for the harm he inflicted upon Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2," he stated per In Touch.
Davidson also pointed out Jackson's complete lack of response to the case, stating, "While [DeMario] had every opportunity to respond and defend himself in this case, he failed to do so. The judgment reflects not only the gravity of the allegations but also his refusal to engage in the legal process."
Davidson then assured that legal efforts will continue to ensure his clients receive justice.

Jackson initially pushed back against the sexual assault allegations, insisting that he was innocent and that key evidence supports his claims.
"I, DeMario Jackson, walked directly into the Los Angeles police station after being falsely accused of raping two white women without a lawyer present and the police let me freely leave," the 38-year-old asserted.
Jackson maintained that his Uber receipts placed him away from the scene at the time of the alleged incidents, proving that he was not present when the assaults supposedly occurred.
He also claimed that he provided investigators with text message screenshots from the day after the accusations were reported, further supporting his innocence.
"The authorities looked at all my evidence and let me, a six foot, four inches tall Black man, leave that precinct without a doubt because I did no wrong. I am innocent, I did not hurt or harm those women," Jackson declared.

The Blast reported that Jane Doe 1, one of two plaintiffs suing Jackson, recounted meeting him on the dating app Bumble in early 2018.
After agreeing to go on a date, she claimed he exposed himself in his car, leaving her feeling "shocked and trapped." She initially believed his apology was sincere and agreed to see him again, a decision she would later regret.
In court documents, Jane Doe 1 alleged that Jackson became aggressive on February 16, 2018, bombarding her with calls demanding to know her whereabouts.
When she finally sent her location, he arrived unannounced and appeared intoxicated. Concerned for his safety, she allowed him to stay over but made it clear there would be no sexual activity.
Despite her firm rejection, she claimed Jackson forcefully pinned her down and assaulted her. "I stated with specific words and actions that I would not engage in sexual activity and did not consent to engage in sexual activity with the Defendant," she recalled, but he refused to listen.

Jane Doe 2 stated that Jackson initially reached out to her on Instagram and invited her over on July 7 of that year.
While at his home, she agreed to have wine with him, and the two eventually decided to engage in anal intercourse since she was menstruating. However, she claimed that during the act, Jackson suddenly stopped and forcibly assaulted her.
"JACKSON forcefully sexually assaulted me by violently shoving his unprotected p-nis into my unlubricated v-gina while my tampon remained inside me. He proceeded to v-ginally rape me," she alleged, adding that her bleeding intensified during the attack.
Both Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 sued Jackson for damages, claiming they continued to suffer severe psychological and emotional distress.
DeMario Jackson Accused Of Using Fame To Target Women In Assault Lawsuit

The accusations against Jackson date back years, with the two anonymous women first filing a complaint in 2022. They alleged that the media personality used his celebrity status to prey on "unsuspecting women" and subject them to horrific abuse.
Their attorney, Keith M. Davidson, emphasized their pursuit of justice against Jackson, who he claimed used "his celebrity status to manipulate, intimidate, and silence them."
He likened their claims to others in the #MeToo movement, vowing accountability. "We look forward to holding all wrongdoers accountable for their despicable and scarring acts," Davidson noted.
With the court's ruling now in place, DeMario Jackson's silence in the legal battle may cost him more than just money.
