Mama June’s former Georgia home has been sold off amid her ongoing personal and legal issues.
According to real estate records, the reality star’s former 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3,225 sq. ft. home located in Hampton, GA has found a buyer. The sale comes only weeks after it was put on the market.
As The Blast first reported, Mama June secretly unloaded her family home back in August. The reality star also hawked off her personal belongings.
The new owner took the property and completely remodeled the inside.
The asking price for the home was $225,000. The listing description reads, “Newly Renovated – Huge Master with Sitting Area, Double Vanities, Walk-In Shower, and Two Master Closets – Laundry Room Upstairs – Large Secondary Bedrooms – Eat-In Kitchen – Separate Dining, Family and Living Rooms – New Flooring – New HVAC – 5 Bedrooms – Bedroom and Full Bath on the Main Level”
Back in 2015, the reality star purchased the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3,225 sq. ft. home in Hampton, Georgia for $149,000. She took a big loss on the recent sale.
The home is famous for being featured on the hit reality show “Mama June: From Not to Hot”. Honey Boo Boo had been living at the home until June’s personal troubles.
Mama June and her boyfriend Eugene “Geno” Doak are facing a year in jail after being indicted by a grand jury. They are charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanor paraphernalia charges.
The grand jury found that Mama June “did unlawfully possess a controlled substance-to-wit: Cocaine, in violation of” the law and “did unlawfully possess with intent to use in inject, ingest, inhale or otherwise introduce into the human body, drug paraphernalia, to-wit: a pipe” against the law.
