Kim Zolciak Breaks Silence On Dating Life Amid Never-Ending Messy Divorce

Kim Zolciak is officially back in the dating pool! 

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum recently confirmed she was dating but refused to share details about her mystery man. Her relationship revelation comes weeks after her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, moved to refile their divorce.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have been embroiled in a messy divorce since 2023. Their differences have sparked numerous verbal altercations and police visits to their former Georgia mansion, which they were forced to leave due to mounting debts.

Zolciak has been vocal about never reconciling with Biermann and doubled down on life being better without him in a mini-interview. A photographer caught up with her at LAX on Tuesday, March 11, asking the TV personality about her love life.

When asked if she was dating, Zolciak said "yes" and confirmed she was with one man and not testing the field. She did not seem open to sharing the details about her new relationship but noted her mystery lover was not in entertainment or a former athlete like Biermann.

In fact, dating a former athlete was off the table for Zolciak, who exclaimed: "F-ck no!" She stressed that she was "happy" embracing her new life in a new house while spending quality time with her kids. "We try to make it joyful. We do fun things. I try to do fun things," the doting mom told TMZ.

Since Zolciak claimed her new man wasn't in the entertainment industry or a former athlete, her widely speculated flame, Chet Hanks, might not be her boyfriend. The Blast covered the romantic rumors surrounding the pair, noting the actor fueled the dating narrative last September.

During his appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards black carpet, Hanks reflected on his relationship with Zolciak. The pair met on the reality TV show "The Surreal Life," with the actor declaring: "One of the best moments of my life was meeting Kim Zolciak."

Hanks shared that his bond with Zolciak went beyond the TV screen, claiming he joined her and her girlfriends for dinner in Los Angeles. Although he noted they were just friends, he seemed open to more and even declared his willingness to move from Nashville to Georgia for Zolciak.

Besides being willing to move to Georgia for Zolciak, Hanks noted he was unbothered by her status as a mother of six. He described himself as a "family man," pointing out that he also had a child. However, Hanks drew the line at Zolciak's divorce.

Hanks stressed that he wasn't keeping up with that part of Zolciak's life and seemed uninterested in discussing it. When pushed to comment, the actor wished his rumored girlfriend "the best with that." Divorce aside, Zolciak equally seemed open to pursuing a relationship with Hanks.

She could not stop smiling while talking about him to sources and dubbed Hanks a "nice guy." The pair showcased undeniable chemistry on "The Surreal Life," with Zolciak once labeling Hanks' infectious laughter her Achilles' heel. They first sparked romance rumors in October 2024 while filming the show.

Last month, The Blast shared that Biermann had reiterated his intentions to separate from Zolciak legally. He informed the court of his decision to file for another divorce, noting his estranged wife had moved to a different county in Georgia.

Because of Zolciak's relocation, Biermann needed to refile the paperwork to initiate their divorce process again. Now, the pair were set to butt heads in Cobb County. However, given the former couple's tumultuous history, a different location did not mean less drama.

Before the divorce refilling, Zolciak and Biermann clashed like mortal enemies. The TV personality even claimed her estranged husband was suffering from a degenerative condition and implored the court for a thorough psychological examination.

Zolciak noted that medical experts needed to evaluate Biermann for possible Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). She stressed that this examination was necessary because her ex showed signs of a cognitive condition.

Zolciak referenced his history as a former professional football player, noting he had received a few hits to the head. She backed up her arguments with a Boston University study that claimed 90% of former NFL players exhibited signs of CTE.

According to Mayo Clinic, CTE is a brain disorder that is likely the result of repeated head injuries, leading to the death of nerve cells in the brain. Zolciak accused Biermann of physical violence and promiscuity and claimed he attempted to cut the communication between her and their children.
