Online, NFL viewers and Chiefs fans have begun sharing their unfiltered thoughts about Worthy and his arrest.

One user expressed frustration with the league for not holding players accountable in situations such as this.

"They need to start kicking guys like this out of the league," they wrote. "It's ridiculous."

A second user called out the Chiefs for keeping players who have had run-ins with the law on their roster and pointed to Rashee Rice, another wide receiver who was arrested in 2024.

The former University of Texas Longhorns player's terrific performance continued in the post-season. Another Chiefs Player Is Dealing With Legal Issues

Although unfortunate, Worthy isn't the only Kansas City Chiefs player dealing with legal issues. In April 2024, Rice, another wide receiver, surrendered to police on charges of aggravated assault after allegedly causing a car crash that involved six vehicles on a Dallas highway.

A month later, the 24-year-old was accused of another assault after law enforcement officials reported the NFL player allegedly assaulted a person in downtown Dallas, ultimately sending them to the hospital.

Rice's mother, Marsha Kearney, also encountered police in 2024 after being charged with package theft. In a video shared online, Kearney is seen wearing a "Momma-Rice" jersey in support of her son as she walks past her neighbor's door before picking up a package and walking away.

According to legal documents, Kearney's case was dismissed; however, she agreed to 24 hours of community service, a theft intervention program, and pay $125 in restitution.
