Ben Affleck Reportedly 'Open' To Having 'Another Shot' With Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner

After finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck reportedly won't mind dating another of his exes, Jennifer Garner.

Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 to 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They share three children and have a great co-parenting relationship.

The exes have become closer recently, especially since Affleck became legally single again after his divorce from Lopez, but the odds of them rekindling their romance is low.

Affleck and Garner are great parents to their three kids, but the "Justice League" actor wouldn't mind "another shot" with the "Juno" actress if the right opportunity presented itself.

An insider told Page Six that Affleck "would love another chance" with Garner and "would definitely be open to giving things another shot with Jen if the timing is ever right."

They added, "At the same time, Ben knows it's just not realistic at this time in their lives."

The source continued, "Ben just got out of marriage and finalized his divorce [from Jennifer Lopez], he is really busy with work and is focused on this new chapter."

They added, "Plus, Ben respects Jen's relationship with John [Miller] and would never come between them."

Meanwhile, another insider told the outlet about Garner's feelings regarding rekindling a romance with her ex-husband, Affleck.

They shared, "The feeling is not mutual on Jen's side. She's happy with John and that's just not where her head is at."

The second source added, "She has a great co-parenting relationship with Ben, and that's where things stand on her end at the moment."

Lately, Garner and Affleck have been enjoying a closer relationship. In January, an insider told Page Six that the former couple has been "spending more time together than ever since they divorced."

They added that Garner and Lopez "are closer than they've ever been since their divorce."

The source explained the reason for Garner and Affleck's recent closer bond, saying, "Particularly since Ben's divorce from Jennifer [Lopez] and with the LA fires and everything going on."  They also shared that the former lovebirds "have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever. They really have a close bond."

According to the insider, Affleck and Garner "know not all exes get along as well and they feel very grateful that they have such an amazing relationship."

They also shared, "Things between Ben and Jen were understandably rocky for a little while when they first divorced. They shared custody and were amicable when it came to situations involving their kids but over the years they've really built a close friendship and are on the same page in a lot of ways."

The source added that the pair "feel like it's only in everyone's benefit involved to have a good relationship including themselves and their kids."

Meanwhile, a separate source told the outlet that Garner's boyfriend, Miller, who she has been dating on and off since 2018 isn't too comfortable with her close relationship with Affleck.

The insider shared that Miller wasn't "thrilled" about Garner spending more time with Affleck and knows they "have been leaning on each other more than ever lately."

The situation has reportedly made Miller feel like a "third wheel," as the source explained, "Their growing bond is getting to be a bit much when Ben spends all the holidays with them, like Christmas and Thanksgiving. John feels like a third wheel."

Following the finalization of Affleck and Lopez's divorce, Miller hoped that Garner would reconsider her closeness with Affleck.

Sources revealed that the Cali Group CEO respects Affleck and understands he and Garner share children. However, he wasn't thrilled about sharing his girlfriend.

A source told the Daily Mail, "John is trying to deal with Ben and Jen's relationship by mostly staying quiet, but it's very hard to do that."

They added, "He knows that Ben has to be around as a father and he is more than OK with that, but he wants to be the man in the relationship."

The insider continued, "John only talks about Ben when Jen talks about Ben or when their kids talk about him. He doesn't bring him up unprompted."
