"Dancing With the Stars" co-host Julianne Hough found herself in hot water following a "cringe-worthy" interview with Timothée Chalamet on the 2025 Oscars red carpet.

Julianne Hough shared a now-viral video of the uncomfortable exchange on her TikTok, drawing sharp criticism from fans.

In the clip, Hough attempted to lighten the mood by asking Chalamet if he had any "go-to dance moves."

The "Dune: Part Two" actor responded with a hesitant, “Umm, do you?”

Hough didn’t miss a beat and demonstrated “a little body roll action” in front of the cameras. But Chalamet appeared less than impressed, questioning where she learned her signature move.

“Coming out of the womb,” Hough joked.

Chalamet, not quite sure how to respond, quipped back, “You did that as a baby? That didn’t mess up your spine the rest of your life? You didn’t have to do spinal adjustments?”

Hough laughed, confirming that she did need spinal adjustments now. However, the conversation fizzled out as Chalamet, looking visibly uncomfortable, quickly wrapped up the interview.

“OK, thanks,” he said before making a polite but swift exit.

The awkward encounter did not go unnoticed by social media users, who flocked to the comments section to share their reactions.

Chalamet switched into a spotted black Tom Ford jacket, while Jenner swapped her sparkly Miu Miu gown for a lace dress from Ashi Studio’s spring 2025 couture collection.

Earlier in the evening, Chalamet and Jenner were spotted sharing a sweet kiss after settling into their front-row seats at the 2025 Oscars. Chalamet made a statement on the red carpet in a vibrant yellow Givenchy suit, while Jenner turned heads in a glamorous black Miu Miu gown.

Sitting front and center made the couple an easy target for Oscars host Conan O’Brien, who couldn’t resist a playful jab during his opening monologue.

“Timmy Chalamet is up for Best Actor tonight. You’re amazing, and you look amazing. I love that suit. You will not get hit on your bike tonight,” O’Brien quipped, referencing Chalamet’s bold fashion choice. “Safe! Amazing actor. Timothée is nominated for his portrayal of Bob Dylan, yeah. Bob Dylan wanted to be here tonight, but not that badly.”

The actor ultimately lost the award to Adrien Brody.
