In October 2018, Ken proposed to Gypsy, but the couple called off their engagement before reuniting briefly in August 2019. Despite their best efforts, the relationship ended, and Gypsy went on to marry Ryan Anderson in 2022 while still in prison.

However, after her release on December 28, 2023, Gypsy announced her separation from Ryan less than four months later.

Ken shared how he and Gypsy reconnected earlier this year, telling PEOPLE, "We first reconnected the very first weekend of April is when I came to visit her for the first time after she had gotten out. We spent that weekend together and had an incredible time."

Ken noted that despite Gypsy's traumatic past, her spirit remains unshaken.

"You would think that on paper, that somebody who had been through that much trauma would be affected in some of the worst ways," he explained. "And for her, I didn't see it. I saw such an incredible spirit and soul. That's what ultimately made me fall in love with her."

Gypsy also reflected on their long and complicated history during an interview on Radio Andy’s "Andy Cohen Live."

“We have a long history. So, we first dated back in 2017 for two years. We have a two-year history under our belt,” she shared. “We separated for four and a half years, and then I got married and moved on. I married Ryan. And then I came out [of prison] and just realized that it was not the marriage that I wanted. And so, I filed for divorce and then reconnected with Ken. And a month later, we got pregnant. It’s kind of been a journey.”

For Gypsy, the dream of having a child with Ken had lingered even after their initial breakup in 2019.

“When we had broken up [it was like] ‘Oh, Aurora is never going to be born,’” she explained, referencing their daughter, whom they welcomed earlier this year. “A lot of people think the origin is one thing, but they don’t know that little story.”

The ex-con also acknowledged the concerns surrounding her pregnancy and how this new chapter has given her a new perspective.

“When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between creators and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn’t matter anymore,” she told her fans. “All that matters is that I’m healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy.”
