Christina Haack Dubs Estranged Husband A 'Snake' After Restaurant Encounter

Christina Haack did not fancy running into her estranged husband, Josh Hall, as she found a very interesting name to describe him.

The reality star found herself dining in the same venue as her ex in the company of her daughter, Taylor, and co-star, Heather Rae El Moussa.

Christina Haack's new commentary comes a few weeks after she unveiled her new man to the world on her Instagram page.

Christina noted that she recently had an awkward encounter with her estranged third husband, Josh while dining out on February 24. 

She shared the experience on her Instagram Story, where she posted a boomerang of herself clinking glasses with her daughter and her co-star, also Taylor's stepmom. Christina referred to the unexpected meeting with a snake emoji in her post, hinting at her feelings toward Josh.

Josh was at the same restaurant, Ocean 48 in Newport Beach, with friends, and he tagged the location in his own Instagram Stories, sharing a picture of their gathering captioned "Little surf and turf with this crew.”

During the premiere of “The Flip Off,” a tense exchange unfolded between exes Josh and Christina, culminating in Josh telling Christina he wished she would “shut up.”

Following the episode, PEOPLE reported that Josh took to his Instagram Story to label the confrontation as “manufactured drama.” In response, Christina uploaded a photo of herself in tears in her car, revealing the emotional toll filming the series with Josh had on her back in June 2024.

Additionally, in a February 8 episode, Christina provided an update on her divorce during a meeting with her partners, contractor Michael Lange and designer Kylie Wing. 

When Michael inquired about any upcoming court dates, Christina explained that the court proceedings had been postponed due to an unsatisfactory offer from Josh, who requested $3.5 million from her.

In the new show’s sneak peek, Christina was seen in distress during a visit from her ex-husband, Tarek, at her Newport Beach home. 

As shared by The Blast, when he inquired about her well-being, Christina revealed her emotional struggle, stating, "No…Josh and I officially split up." 

She opened up about the chaotic nature of her relationship with Josh, highlighting that their confrontations often escalated and had been negative for a long time. 

Christina shared that her children, Taylor and Brayden, expressed concern for her well-being, urging her to leave the marriage due to Josh's unkindness. “They told me he's not nice to me. Why would I stick around?” she asked.

Reflecting on her experiences since 2016, Christina lamented feeling trapped in an unpleasant rollercoaster, "I feel like I'm in a tornado all the time, and I just can't get out of it." 

Her heartfelt admission conveyed the significant toll these struggles have taken on her emotional health, according to her statement.

The Blast shared that the HGTV star recently shared a glimpse of her romantic getaway on Instagram, where she introduced her boyfriend, Chris Larocca to her fans.

In a series of photos taken aboard a private jet, Christina exuded confidence in a chic all-black outfit, striking a "Boss Lady" pose in the luxurious seat. One photo captured her gazing out the window while savoring a toast with her new partner.

The couple was not shy about displaying their affection, as they were seen in a playful moment with Haack perched on her beau’s lap. Christina also took a group photo with some of her girlfriends who joined the trip, and the final shot featured the couple in a tender embrace on the plane.

The couple have been dating for a few months, as revealed by sources familiar with their relationship. Although the couple has not publicly shared details about their meeting, insiders suggest they have been spending significant time together, often spotted in Newport and traveling abroad.

The two have reportedly not stayed shy about their romance, which began a few months after Josh filed for divorce in July 2024. Their public debut came in October 2024 during a trip organized by Ferrari, where they were seen together in Bologna, dining at a historic private hunting club. 

Photos shared on Instagram showed them walking hand in hand, and sources confirmed that they were indeed Christina and Chris, with the CEO inviting her as a guest for the luxurious experience. 

Just two months later, they were also spotted together at a Christmas party hosted by influencer Amy Sexton on December 14.
