Kevin informed the court that he made an "unconditional deal" with the duo, meaning he would be dropping his lawsuit against them.

Kevin's legal team also filed a notice of settlement of the entire case, noting that as long as no issues arise when drafting the settlement, the case should be closed in the near future.

The comedian's lawyer stated that they are currently finalizing the language of their settlement agreements, which were reached on February 14.

As confirmed by In Touch, Kevin's whole episode with Miesha and Tasha K began after Miesha, his former assistant, appeared in a candid interview with Tasha K.

In the lawsuit filed in 2023, Kevin disclosed that he received a call from one of Tasha K's associates, proposing that he pay $250,000 to prevent the interview from being published on Tasha K's social media.

Kevin was taken aback by a proposal that suggested extortion, leading him to contact the police to report the incident immediately. He also explained that he instructed his legal team to issue a cease-and-desist letter to Tasha K, warning her against publishing an interview.

Meanwhile, Kevin asserted that Miesha had signed a non-disclosure agreement when she left his employment. Miesha worked for the comedian as his assistant from 2017 to 2020.

Following Kevin's filing, Miesha claimed she did not do the actor any wrong with her interview. Miesha argued the non-disclosure agreement she signed was not valid because her former boss never provided her with health insurance as promised in the deal.

The former staff disclosed that when she signed the NDA, she was experiencing severe mental health challenges and was facing significant financial difficulties due to her unemployment.

She emphasized that the actor was fully aware of her struggles, including her urgent need for health insurance and financial support, as she was unable to afford either her health insurance or her prescribed medications.

"[Kevin] failed to abide by their obligations under that document; therefore, [Kevin] cannot pursue [Miesha] for an alleged breach when it suits [Kevin's] agenda," Miesha revealed.

Her attorney continued, "With regard to the alleged invasion of privacy and defamation claims, [Kevin and his company] also cannot show a reasonable probability of success on the merits."

Miesha's legal rep concluded that the actions taken by Kevin and his company to silence his client reflect a troubling pattern among celebrities. He noted that celebrities, after engaging in questionable behavior, usually seek to suppress any criticism surrounding their actions.

Tasha K was not left behind. The media personality, whose real name is Latasha Transrina Kebe, received a letter from Kevin's legal team in November 2023.

According to a report from The Blast, the letter addressed Tasha K's "recent and ongoing violations of civil and criminal law"and demanded that she immediately cease and desist all related activities.

The letter warned her that her actions amounted to "criminal conduct and tortious acts," which could make her liable for monetary damages. It further stated that if she continued these actions, her "liability for such monetary damages would increase," along with her risk of facing criminal penalties.

After the legal battle between Kevin and Tasha K, attention shifted to Kevin's ex-wife, Torrei Hart, who addressed rumors of a feud between Kevin and comedian Katt Williams last year.

Katt, set to tour with Torrei last year, had previously made controversial remarks about Kevin and others during an appearance on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast.

While leaving the Hollywood Improv last January, Torrei sought to clarify the situation, stating that Kevin fully supports her involvement in the three-night tour with Williams.

She also highlighted their long-standing friendship of nearly twenty years, dismissing any ideas of conflict or conspiracy.

Miesha Shakes and Tasha K can now heave a sigh of relief and maybe watch their utterances next time!
