Teller, who plays entertainment lawyer John Branca in the film, expressed his longtime admiration for the King of Pop.

“I think I learned to do the moonwalk when I was, like, 11, and I would grab my crotch as a little kid,” Teller shared, recalling how he tried to imitate Jackson’s legendary dance moves.

As he mimicked Jackson’s choreography from his seat, he joked about getting in trouble for it as a child. “I got in trouble so much in school,” he said.

However, the real unexpected moment came when Teller caught Cohen glancing downward during the reenactment.

“I saw you look down there, Andy, you little pervert!” the Top Gun: Maverick star quipped.

Cohen who was off-camera at the time, didn’t deny it. Instead, he laughed and confessed, “I did.”

Teller’s upcoming film, "Michael," is set to hit theaters on October 3 and will cover Jackson’s rise to fame, from his early years with the Jackson 5 to his unmatched solo career in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, leading up to his untimely death in 2009.

“Miles is a compelling screen presence, whom I’ve admired since watching him in Whiplash. He’s the perfect actor to capture John’s enigmatic persona,” "Michael" producer Graham King said in statement to Deadline. “From our earliest development conversations, it was clear the emotional connection that John still has to Michael. He graciously allowed us to use him as a character in the film and I’m thrilled that it’s Miles who will portray a relationship that extended over 3 decades, through Michael’s greatest triumphs and most difficult days.”

Fuqua added, “Miles’ finely tuned skills as an actor are up to the challenge of playing a man who is being examined for the pivotal role he played in Michael Jackson’s life. He is the perfect actor to disappear into the role of John Branca.”

The film stars Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s real-life nephew, as the legendary performer, with Colman Domingo and Nia Long portraying his parents, Joe and Katherine Jackson.

Some scenes were even filmed at Neverland Ranch, Jackson’s famed California estate, where he lived from 1988 to 2005.

Reflecting on the experience, Teller teased, “It was wild.”
