GloRilla Said She's Selling Something Wild To Make Up Her Losses

The Super Bowl is one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year. Not only would Eagles, Chiefs, and NFL fans worldwide prepare to watch a showdown between two powerhouse teams, but many would also spend a lot of money betting on gambling props, like what team would win, who would score a touchdown, and so much more.

According to the American Gaming Association (AGA), Americans were expected to wager an estimated $1.39 billion legally on the big game. AGA President and CEO Bill Miller discussed the special event, saying only the Super Bowl could unite and excite sports fans to want to wager money on special props.

Fans Don't Feel Bad For GloRilla

Those who gamble understand selecting the right picks is never as easy as it seems. However, when looking at the Kansas City Chiefs' chances of beating the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LIX, many believed the win would be an easy bag for standout quarterback Patrick Mahomes to secure.

Consequently, many gamblers, like GloRilla, who took the Chiefs to win the big game outright, ended the night empty-handed. Still, that didn't cause any of her fans to feel sorry for the Memphis-born performer.

"That's what you get," someone said before telling GloRilla to "stick to [mursic,]" poking fun at her signature accent.

Someone else also chimed in, saying real football fans would've never put money on the Chiefs to win this year's special game.

Other Celebrities Who Have Lost Money Betting On The NFL

Dave Portnoy
MEGA

GloRilla isn't the only trending celebrity who has lost money betting on the NFL during the 2024-2025 season.

Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy recently had a meltdown on social media in January 2025 after the Buffalo Bills were kicked out of Super Bowl contention by the Chiefs in a devastating 32-29 loss.

The controversial figure called the team and referees out on social media after Josh Allen and the Bills were denied a call from the refs that could've changed the trajectory of the game.

"Again, how the hell is the ref staring at Josh Allen's back, the one who overrules the ref staring at the ball, and who had the right spot? #BillsMafia #nflrigged," he wrote online.

Portnoy's frustration with the game came after the 47-year-old revealed he wagered $1 million on the Buffalo Bills to win Super Bowl LIX at +550 odds.

Rapper Arrested In 2024 For DUI Charges

GloRilla's $128,000 loss is just one of the challenges the rapper has faced in recent months.

In 2024, news broke that the "WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME" performer was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, on suspicion of driving under the influence after officers recalled seeing her vehicle make an illegal U-turn at a traffic light.

According to the police report, law enforcement officers noted smelling marijuana and alcohol emanating from GloRilla's vehicle, prompting the 25-year-old to confess to consuming some alcohol that evening; however, she wouldn't admit how much.

Later, the officer had GloRilla perform multiple field sobriety tests, including the walk-and-turn, one-leg balance, walk-in-a-straight-line, and more, which they noted the rapper had difficulty completing.

GloRilla was taken into custody around 6 a.m. ET before being released on bail several hours later.
