Christine Brownis set to tell her story, especially all the juicy details behind her decision to leave polygamy.
The TLC star rose to fame alongside three women, Janelle, Meri, and Robyn, as Kody Brown's four wives on the reality TV series "Sister Wives." However, she shed that title in 2021 when she became the first wife to leave the famous polygamous union.
Since her departure, Janelle and Meri have similarly called it quits with their ex-husband, while Robyn remains faithful to Kody Brown. Although their show captured plenty of the drama, Christine Brown's upcoming memoir promises to spill all the behind-the-scenes details.

The TV personality shared the exciting news about her upcoming tell-all book on Tuesday, February 4, dropping several pictures from her cover shoot on Instagram. In the images, Christine appeared to be in high spirits, smiling brightly while rocking different outfits.
The first image captured her posing in a stunning red blazer over a black button-down top and striped pants. She donned a similar fit in the other pictures; however, they featured different color combos that complimented Christine's physique.
The remaining slides captured her getting glammed up in a makeup artist's chair while sporting the first red blazer combo. "I have a book about my life coming soon!!" Christine chimed in the caption, adding:
"It is gritty and honest as I tell my story of living polygamy as a child, to my marriage and family life. It shows my heartache with leaving religion and my marriage to FINALLY meeting @david__woolley."

Although the memoir tells Christine's story in her own words, she revealed in the caption that she did not write it alone. She partnered with author Kelly Kennedy to create the book, hailing her as an "amazing and talented" writer.
Additionally, Christine thanked the company, Simon & Schuster, for believing in her work and publishing it. She extended her gratitude to the hair and makeup artist before concluding her lengthy caption: "I love all three of my outfit choices. I wonder which one will make it to the cover?"
Christine's memoir, "Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family and Finding Freedom," marks the second book she has published. In 2013, she co-wrote "Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage" alongside Kody, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn.

Simon and Schuster's publishing company dropped a raving review about Christine's new book on their website, hailing it as "a groundbreaking and heartfelt memoir about living in a family like no other and finding the strength to leave Mormonism—and the only life she's known—behind."
The book marks the first time Christine has shared the "journey that led her away from the Mormon church and the bold path she is carving to live apart from all she has ever known." The review further praised the TV personality's storytelling, describing it as:
"Moving, genuine and insightful. This is a uniquely powerful tour de force of Christine's journey toward and beyond her time in the spotlight as a sister wife."
While Christine's first book with her fellow sister wives and ex-husband covered their unique polygamous union, In Touch noted fans can expect the entertainer's new memoir to detail the end of her marriage to Kody and her relationship with Janelle, Meri, and Robyn.

According to the outlet, Christine opened up about her decision to leave Kody during a January 2022 episode of their reality TV show. She noted they had grown apart over the years; however, their bond worsened significantly because of the patriarch's shocking confession.
"He said, 'I'm not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore.' I'm not OK staying in a marriage where there's no intimacy," Christine shared on the episode. Months later, she revealed the "final straw" in their relationship was when Kody refused to support their daughter Ysabel.
Their child underwent corrective surgery for her scoliosis, but Kody was absent when Ysabel had to see a specialist in September 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. "He broke my little girl's heart. I really find it hard to stay with a guy who I don't respect," Christine confessed.
