Kanye West took to social media yesterday to call for the release of disgraced rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, who's currently locked up behind bars.

Diddy did not waste time responding to West's advocacy on his behalf and thanking the Yeezy founder for it.

Kanye West's post comes as a shock to many as he's had his differences with Sean "Diddy" Combs after the embattled hip-hop mogul slammed him for being "tone deaf" when he unveiled his controversial "White Lives Matter" merchandise in 2022.

The "Finna Get Loose" rapper denied all charges against him and tried to secure bail on several occasions, but his application was repeatedly rejected.

He has now broken his silence on West's sudden change of heart after the "Gold Digger" rapper begged President Donald Trump to "Free Puff" while also revealing he was releasing a Yeezy clothing line in collaboration with Diddy's Sean John brand.

"Thank you to my brother @Ye," Diddy wrote, sharing a link to the Yeezy website.

Kanye West Plans To Help Diddy Make Money

West's call for Diddy's release marks a shocking reversal, as they had both been embroiled in a feud.

All that seems to be in the past now, with West not only voicing his support for Diddy but also disclosing that he'd be "splitting the profits 50/50" with him.

The "Donda" rapper went further to accuse celebrities of leaving Diddy to "rot," writing: "ALL THESE CELEBRITY N--GAS AND B-TCHES IS P-SSY YALL A WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY SH-T."

He continued, "THEY TRYNA PROVE A POINT, AND YALL KNOW THAT YALL F-CKING KNOW THAT AND SITTING LAUGHING AT THE F-CKING INTERNET ON INSTAGRAM THIS MAN GAVE HIS LIFE TO US THIS MY IDOL THIS MY HERO."

West's posts caused heavy backlash from fans but the father of four was seemingly undeterred, going on to explain that he's unbothered and has nothing left to lose.

He wrote, "WHAT YALL GONE DO CANCEL MY SNEAKER DEAL CANCEL MY RECORD DEAL FREEZE MY ACCOUNTS F-CK ALL YALL N--GAS SLAVERY IS A CHOICE IM SPEAKING MY MIND NOW I AINT EDITING SH-T AGAIN EVER."

West infamously lost a series of brand deals, including his multi-million dollar partnership with Adidas, when he went on an antisemitic rant in 2022.

He likened Diddy's ongoing legal woes to his situation, suggesting the Bad Boy Records founder was being ousted as the frontman of global alcoholic drinks giant Diageo.

Using racist slurs and again targeting the Jewish community, he wrote, "ALL YOU PLEEEEEASE COME AT ME THATS HOW WE SPOT THE K--NS LET THESE WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWISH PEOPLE TELL YOU WHAT TO DO AND SAY F-CK DIAGEO AND F-CK ALL YALL N--GAS IN ADVANCE."

He then shared that racism was the reason why Diddy is currently going through his troubles before writing, "JUST FOR CLARITY THEY TYRING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF PUFF ME AND MY BROTHER HAD OUR ISSUES BUT THESE WHITE PEOPLE TRYING TO USE PUFF TO SCARE N--GAS IM NEITHER SCARED NOR BRAVE THIS JUST ME."

West then made unsubstantiated claims about Diddy's finances, seemingly referencing singer Justin Bieber, whose relationship with Diddy as a young star has raised eyebrows among many fans.

"I JUST FOUND OUT THAT PUFF IS NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE OR COLLECT MONEY WHILE HE'S LOCKED UP, SO I'MA SEND HIS HALF OF THE MONEY TO JUSTIN," he penned, per the Daily Mail.

Before West's shocking posts about his fellow rapper, reports claimed that the rapper's extended stay abroad was due to his fear of being dragged into Diddy's legal scandal and his own lawsuits.

In January, a source told the Daily Mail that West was "terrified" of coming back to the U.S.

"Kanye's reasoning for not being [in America] has nothing to do with his children and has everything to do with the multiple lawsuits that he is facing in the States," the source said.

"With all this stuff with Diddy, Kanye is terrified," the sources continued, referencing the ongoing sex crime charges that have been leveled against Diddy.

Meanwhile, Diddy's trial is scheduled to commence on May 5 as investigations into his alleged sex crimes continue.

He has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution but has denied all allegations.

Ahead of the trial, Diddy's lawyers told the Daily Mail in a statement on Wednesday that the rapper "is confident he will prevail in court."

"No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone - man or woman, adult or minor," they wrote.

Diddy's lawyers added, "We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs."
