Kanye West seemingly doesn't care about the controversy his wife's outfit caused at the Grammys.
The rapper's wife, Censori, who appeared alongside West at the event, posed in a sheer dress that completely exposed her body, leaving many stunned.
However, instead of an apology, the rapper took to his Instagram to show off just how much buzz Censori's outfit had generated.
On his Instagram page, West posted a screenshot of the Google Trends chart comparing the traffic Censori's Grammy Outfit generated with that of the award ceremony winners.
Less than a day after the event, interest in the search term "Bianca Censori Grammys" has outpaced interest in "Grammy Winners 2025."
West's decision to post the screenshots confirms reports that the rapper and his wife, Censori, planned the Grammy stunt, knowing the attention it would attract.
Insiders Claim Kanye Only Cared About Attention, Not Grammy Award
According to a source close to West and Censori, the rapper only attended the Grammys to make headlines and leave.
"Kanye turned up, made headlines around the world, and left. No one told him what to do, and even if they had, he wouldn't have listened," claimed the Insider, per The Express Tribune.
Although Ye's track "Carnival" was one of the tracks nominated for Best Rap Song at the Grammys, he had no intention of staying, even if he had won.
The Blast also reported that the rapper was caught at the event edging Censori on to make a scene. "You're making a scene now; make a scene. I'll say it'll make so much sense," he said.
Fans Unhappy With Kanye West's Instagram Post
Ye's attempts to show how viral Censori's Grammy Outfit had gone on the internet didn't go down well with many netizens.
Under the Instagram post, many fans questioned Ye's motives, allowing Censori to pull such a stunt at the Grammys. "You're using your wife's body to get relevant? That's sad," wrote a fan.
Another fan disclosed missing the old Ye, who was very passionate about Christianity not so long ago, writing, "Remember when you were all about Jesus? Miss those days. I know you'll come back, though."
Meanwhile, some fans highlighted West's role as a parent, asking the rapper if he would allow his kids to pull something similar to what Censori did at the Grammys.
"Stop using her body as a marketing tool for your career… Have some values! Would you let your child do this in the future for her husband?" the fan asked.
Kanye West Loses $20 Million Gig In Japan After Grammy Antics
Kanye West was reportedly set to headline two shows at the Tokyo Dome in Japan in May, but talks broke down after his appearance at the Grammys.
According to reports, the stunt West and Censori pulled at the Grammys led to significant concerns for the shows' investors, who are now reconsidering their decision.
"The investors in Japan who are backing the concerts are extremely upset by this. It is highly likely that they will pull the funding for the shows," per the Economic Times.
Censori's decision to show off her body at the Grammys was reportedly "greeted with horror in Japan," which they also considered "creepy beyond belief."
Japan is reportedly experiencing a cultural awakening about women's rights, making West and Censori's antics unacceptable.
Ye and Censori's Grammy Behavior Considered Disrespectful To Los Angeles Fire Victims
Kanye West and Censori's stunt at the Grammys also drew the ire of their Hollywood colleagues after they posed in front of billboards asking for donations to aid victims of the Los Angeles Wildfires.
One person who addressed the couple's behavior said, "This was totally disrespectful to the Grammys. To pull a stunt at what is essentially a fundraiser and in the context of what has been going on in LA is almost inconceivably stupid, crass, and wrong."
West was accused of being blind to everything except his desire to launch a cryptocurrency.
Although Ye hasn't spoken publicly about any plans to dive into the crypto industry, there have been talks about a rumored cryptocurrency being referred to as "$YE."
Crypto enthusiasts on X discussed the probability and effect of Ye releasing a coin. One user stated, "If Kanye dropped a meme coin, the crypto market would go straight to zero."
