This marks Beyoncé’s first tour since her record-breaking "Renaissance" tour in 2023, which was hailed as one of the most successful tours of the decade.
The "Cowboy Carter" era officially began during Beyoncé’s Christmas Day Halftime Show, which was streamed live on Netflix during an NFL game. The Houston native treated fans to foot-stomping performances of "Cowboy Carter" tracks, marking the first time she performed songs from the album live since its release in March 2024.
Shortly after, she teased a cryptic 15-second video that cut to black, flashing the date 1.14.25, with the caption, "Look at that horse," which is a reference to her song "Sweet Honey Buckiin'."
“When you are breaking down barriers, not everyone is ready and open for a shift. But when I see Shaboozey tearing the charts up and all the beautiful female country singers flying to new heights, inspiring the world, that is exactly what motivates me,” the superstar shared in a lengthy statement to The Hollywood Reporterafter dropping the album.
The 'Cowboy Carter Tour' Is Officially Confirmed
Fans immediately speculated that Beyoncé was either gearing up for another album drop or planning a tour announcement. However, due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, which began on January 7 and affected thousands of residents, Beyoncé chose to postpone the news out of respect.
"I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community."
The "Halo" singer contributed $2.5 million to Los Angeles relief efforts through her BeyGood Foundation.
Now, with the "Cowboy Carter Tour" officially confirmed, fans are counting down the days until Beyoncé reveals when and where they can experience this next musical chapter live.
