Kris Jenner Reportedly Wants Son Rob Kardashian To 'Come Out Of His Shell'

Kris Jenner, the famous mom/manager of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, has set her sights on her only son, Rob Kardashian.

The proud mother of six children rose to fame alongside her five daughters as they showcased their sometimes-controversial lives for fans' enjoyment. However, Rob has always been the odd one, choosing a low-key lifestyle, unlike his siblings.

Well, his days as a social recluse are reportedly over, with Kris Jenner ready to do everything within her power to ensure Rob Kardashian steps into the spotlight. The momager has her work cut out for her, as she is allegedly the same person to blame for her son's antisocial vibes.

According to a source, Kris has grown tired of Rob's days as a recluse and wants him back on their family's reality TV show. Since the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" series ended, the only son in the KarJenner clan has lived under the radar, to his mother's dismay.

"Kris is trying to light a fire under Rob to get him to start living life again. She never imagined when he stepped back from the show that he'd still be hiding out at home all these years later," the source claimed, adding:

"It's the biggest heartbreak of her life, and she's desperate to convince him to come out of his shell."

A different source alleged Rob is closer to his older sister, Khloé Kardashian, than his other siblings. Her house is reportedly the only place he would visit outside his home, and he frequently brought his daughter Dream to spend time with her aunt and cousins, per In Touch.

The second source shared that Rob mostly spent his days caring for his minor daughter, Dream. He welcomed the adorable bundle of joy with his ex, Blac Chyna, born Angela White. "Rob lives for his little girl, Dream," they declared, adding:

"She's the absolute center of his world, and he spends most of his time with her either at his house or over at Khloé's. [However,] When Khloé wants to take the kids out anywhere, 99 percent of the time Rob refuses to go."

The insider implied that Rob may have agoraphobia, noting the years he spent as a reality TV star has made him "terrified of being out in public and getting recognized or photographed." Agoraphobia, per the Cambridge Dictionary, is the fear of going outside and being in public places.

Agoraphobia can also be defined as the fear of being in a situation where it might be difficult to escape, or help might not be available. In Rob's case, his disinterest in keeping a social lifestyle might stem from the negative and ruthless publicity he received during his family's first reality TV show.

Whatever Rob's reasons are for living an antisocial life, they are not enough to stop Kris from ensuring he returns to the public's eye. The first source stressed that she wanted her son to make more appearances, noting:

"She's sure it will be good for his state of mind to be out and about more and even participate more in the show because the fans really want to see him. She says he'll be shocked by how excited everyone will be."

The source alleged Kris wanted Rob to become socially active because their reality TV show could use his help. As for why her son's reclusion reached the stage it is today, the insider implied the momager played a significant role, saying:

"Kim and Kourtney [Kardashian] have been telling her for years that she's just enabling Rob by letting him get away with his reclusive life, and Kris is finally starting to see their point."

Despite Rob's lack of social media presence, The Blast shared that he broke his under-the-radar rule in August 2022 for Khloé. The touching moment occurred after his older sister shared a stunning picture of herself in an all-black ensemble.

Khloé flaunted her signature curves in a long-sleeved turtleneck, leather pants, and matching boots. The post seemingly struck a chord with Rob, who commented, "My pretty princess sparkly girl." His rare show of support sparked interesting reactions from fans.

Some were shocked to find Rob online, while others believed his mother, Kris, had dropped the compliment instead.

Additionally, the timing of the siblings' interaction caught a few people's attention because it came a day after Khloé congratulated her brother's ex, Adrienne Bailon, on welcoming a baby with her husband, Israel Houghton.

Although Rob mostly stayed under the radar, he was quick to respond when it came to his daughter, Dream. He broke his social media hiatus after his ex lamented her struggles as a single mom. Chyna wrote:

"Yesterday I had to give up 3 of my cars …my reasons… morals, beliefs, being a single mother, no support. I'm a MAMA."

In a follow-up update, Chyna confirmed that she made those sacrifices because she had no man and was not receiving child support from her exes. She welcomed a son with the rapper Tyga and a daughter with Rob. However, both men denied her claims.

Tyga revealed he paid $40k for his son's fees; however, he did not pay additional support because the boy lived with him six out of seven days.

Meanwhile, Rob claimed he paid $37k for his daughter's school and handled all her medical expenses and extracurricular activities. He also had Dream from Tuesday to Saturday and saw no reason to pay Chyna child support.
