Shaboozey only has good things to say about Beyoncé. Since early 2024, the country singer, known for his smash hit, "A Bar Song (Tipsy), has been blazing the charts and taking over headlines.

Although his music speaks for itself, Beyoncé's influence has a lot to do with Shaboozey's rise to stardom. In case you missed it, the 32x Grammy winner featured the 29-year-old singer on her country album "Cowboy Carter" in 2024. Shaboozey is on the tracks "Spaghettii" and "Sweet Honey Buckiin." However, the good times with the mother of three didn't stop in the recording booth.

He also sang alongside the showstopper during her NFL halftime performance on Christmas Day. Additionally, he's found time to perform his music at the Country Music Awards, Stagecoach, and on Jimmy Fallon.

Since appearing on "Cowboy Carter" alongside music icon Beyoncé, Shaboozey's spot has really taken off. Aside from claiming a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the country performer also earned five nominations at this year's Grammys ceremony, including Best New Artist.

The singer's rise in popularity has also brought him much attention. However, nobody makes him light up the way Beyoncé does.

While chatting with E! News about his music, life, and favorite people to talk to, he boasted about the "Lemonade" singer. When asked who he enjoyed hearing from most, he didn't hesitate to answer.

“Definitely Beyoncé—always,” he said. “I love when I get that text from her that’s like, ‘Yeah, you killed it.’”

As his conversation went on, Shaboozey continued praising Beyoncé, calling her "the homie" before talking about her work ethic.

The "Good News" singer complimented Beyoncé before revealing he's "learned so much" from "working" alongside her.

Beyoncé's country album, "Cowboy Carter," was released in March 2024 and features country legends like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson. The project also included more mainstream performers like Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Willie Jones, and Tanner Adell.

It housed the chart-topping single "Texas Hold 'Em" and renditions of popular tracks by The Beatles and Parton, namely "Blackbird" and "Jolene."

Beyoncé gave an electrifying live performance of songs from the release on December 25, 2024, during the Houston Texans versus Baltimore Ravens game, despite some country singer's controversial opinions on the album.

However, according to Shaboozey, Beyoncé learned to push past feelings of doubt and fear at a young age.

“She just tells me when she was little, the places she performed and she was nervous and had to get over that and find the strength to get out there and do what she does,” he said.

“She’s the hardest working woman in music, maybe the hardest working human in music.”

Luke Bryan On The CMA Snub

After Beyoncé released her country album, the singer broke several records and made history. Consequently, many believed she'd be an obvious front-runner for the top categories at the Country Music Awards (CMA).

However, the Destiny's Child alum was left off the CMA ballot completely.

Of course, BeyHive members flooded social media channels, voicing their opinions about the matter and expressing disappointment.

Country singer Luke Bryan felt differently, though. In October 2024, Bryan called the snub "tricky" during a conversation with Andy Cohen.

He continued, saying that Beyoncé making a country album doesn't automatically make it worthy of praise.

"I'm all for everybody coming in and making country albums and all that. But just by declaring that, just because she made one. I don't need [a nomination], just 'cause I make one," he said.

The "Country Girl" singer went on to share other reasons why he believed the association didn't recognize Beyoncé's album during their awards show.

According to him, the Beyoncé could've been more involved in the country community.

"... if you're gonna make country albums, come into our world and be country with us a little bit," Bryan said. "... come to an award show and high-five us, and have fun and get in the family too."

Bryan later acknowledged his comments online, saying his intentions weren't "negative" before saying he "respects Beyoncé" and wants everyone "to win."

Parton Understood The CMA Decision

Although Parton appeared on Beyoncé's album and permitted her to cover her song "Jolene," the 79-year-old seemingly understood the association's decision to exclude Beyoncé from the nominations.

"I think everybody in country music welcomed her and thought that was good. So I don't think it was a matter of shutting out, like doing that on purpose," Parton said. "I think it was just more of what the country charts and the country artists were doing, that do that all the time, not just a specialty album."

Billy Ray Not Happy About CMA Nominations

Despite Bryan and Parton's feelings about Beyoncé's venture into country music, Billy Ray Cyrus, known for his popular single "Achy Breaky Heart," had different thoughts.

In a social media post, the "Hannah Montana" actor congratulated the award show's nominees.

He also highlighted the change country music has seen over the years, writing how "proud" he was to see the genre "be inclusive to all people" and "all styles."

As he finished, though, he questioned why Beyoncé didn't receive any nominations before acknowledging that the singer most likely didn't care.

"She doesn't need a trophy from the CMA... or permission.... or approval from any of their judges," Cyrus wrote.

"When ya knock em out....Ya don't need no judge."
