A$AP Relli Slams 'Snitch' Tag And Defends Testimony At A$AP Rocky's Trial

A$AP Relli passionately defends his testimony against A$AP Rocky as he fires back at the idea of him being called a "snitch." 

The courtroom drama is heating up as Rocky stands accused of firing a gun at Relli during a heated altercation on November 6, 2021.

A$AP Rocky rejected a plea deal and maintained his innocence, however, the version of events narrated by his former friend has caused things to escalate.

Relli made it clear that he is not backing down as he addressed accusations of "snitching" outside the courtroom. After taking the stand in Rocky's assault trial, Relli was immediately met by a paparazzo who asked, "Some people call you a snitch, whatyou say about that?"

Without hesitation, Relli fired back, "Would you be a snitch if somebody shot at you?" The exchange quickly escalated into a heated back-and-forth, with the photographer revealing details about a bullet he had in his own leg.

This intense moment unfolded just after Relli testified about the moment he was allegedly shot by Rocky in 2021. As the trial continues, TMZ reports that Relli will return to the stand, while Rihanna is expected to attend in support of Rocky. 

Relli, born Terell Ephron, dropped a bombshell testimony in court, vividly describing how Rocky allegedly pulled a gun on him during a heated dispute. The Blast highlighted that Relli stood his ground, challenging the rapper, saying, "You better use that sh-t, what the f-ck you got a gun for?" 

As tensions boiled, Relli testified that Rocky then drew the gun and fired, grazing his knuckles with the bullet.

According to the outlet, Relli was not backing down, stating he was ready to die for his respect. "I was willing to die for my respect. If this is what you want to do, I still have my dignity," he declared.

The two had a tense history, Relli revealed, recalling overhearing Rocky badmouthing him the day before the alleged shooting.

Rocky's decision to reject a plea deal in his assault trial made waves as the entrepreneur maintained his innocence, calling the offer "career suicide."

The songwriter chose to fight the charges in court instead of accepting a deal that would have required him to serve 180 days in jail, undergo three years of probation, and complete 500 hours of community service.

The Blast reported that Rocky's legal team, led by Joe Tacopina, confirmed the rejection, stating that accepting the plea would devastate his career in music and fashion. 

An insider close to the rapper revealed that such a sentence would cost him lucrative endorsement deals with major brands like Gucci and Puma, and prevent him from touring. 

Additionally, Rocky was reportedly concerned about being under federal supervision for up to eight years if he accepted the deal. 

In an unexpected turn in Rocky's assault case, reports suggested that Rihanna may show her support for her longtime partner as his legal battle continues in downtown Los Angeles.

The singer is reportedly set to attend his trial, though plans could change. If she does show up, Rihanna is expected to sit in the gallery among the general public. Her presence, however, raised concerns about potential influence over the trial. 

Both prosecutors and Rocky's defense attorney, Joe Tacopina, acknowledged Rihanna's immense popularity, which could inadvertently sway jurors' opinions. 

The Blast reported that the actress's influence became a focal point during jury selection, with potential jurors questioning their admiration for the mother-of-two and whether they were loyal customers of her Fenty brand.

Rihanna's potential appearance at her beau's assault trial sparked fierce backlash from her fans. While it might be seen as an admirable show of loyalty, the star's supporters urged the Barbadian beauty to stay away, fearing it could harm her brand's reputation. 

Her fans expressed their discontent, with one user stating, "Oh no girl! He's going to prison if you show up or not." Another added, "Don't do it!!!"
