Kim Kardashian Raises Eyebrows After Sharing A Melania Trump Inauguration Photo

Kim Kardashian has sparked a debate among fans after sharing a photo of Melania Trump from Donald Trump's presidential inauguration.

The reality TV star notably avoided publicly supporting any presidential candidate in the run-up to the November elections.

It comes amid speculation that Kim Kardashian has started dating again but is keeping it under wraps.

Kardashian has sparked mixed reactions from fans as she took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of Melania Trump from her husband, Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday.

Although she never publicly endorsed either Trump or his Democratic party contender Kamala Harris, the reality TV star seemingly made a political statement by sharing a snap of the First Lady in a chic black suit and hat to her Instagram story.

Kardashian, however didn't caption the post, causing several to wonder her motive for sharing the photo.

Her post raised eyebrows among fans, with some criticizing her for allegedly supporting Donald Trump. In contrast, others defended her right to admire Melania's style without being judged for her political views.

Fans shared various reactions to Kardashian's cryptic Melania photo, especially on X (formerly Twitter).

"It's time we realize their whole family are Republicans, and we shouldn't support any of them," an X user wrote, while another penned, "Now we know why she didn't endorse Kamala during the election campaign."

A third person said, "They are done cosplaying as black women and are now fully back to factory settings."

Someone else posted several photos of Kardashian and Ivanka Trump and wrote, "Are we really shocked? Kim's stayed LOVING that family down!"

Meanwhile, other fans noted that Kardashian's post isn't what many think it is.

A fan wrote, "How does this mean she voted for Trump? Most fashion people were commenting on Melania's outfit cos she ate. Y'all want her to be a Trump supporter so bad. Everything is a hint, including when Elon sent her robots."

Another fan said, "Stop being messy you know she's going up for Melania's outfit."

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum does not seem to have a drama-free relationship with the new president.

She scored massive points when she visited the White House in 2018 during Trump's first tenure, asking for assistance in freeing prisoners.

However, in November 2023, Trump called her "the World's most overrated celebrity" and distanced himself from ABC's Jonathan Karl's claims that he asked her for help attracting "football stars" to the White House.

In his Truth Social post, Trump dubbed Karl a "Failed ABC Fake News reporter," adding that he "works sooo hard, but has sooo little talent."

"In the 'book,' he has the World's most overrated celebrity, Kim Kardashian, supposedly telling me that she 'would leverage her celebrity to get football stars to come to the White House' if I would commute the sentences of various prisoners," Trump wrote, per the Daily Mail. "This story is Fake News in that she would be the last person I asked to get football players."

Trump then boasted that he had "many teams from all sports and leagues in the White House."

The SKIMS founder recently teased that she might be dating again in the Season 6 trailer for "The Kardashians," which dropped last Friday.

"I had the intention of staying single. I was fully lying to you guys," she admitted in a confessional, per Page Six.

"Me not dating and not wanting love and attention?" she joked. "I don't think you know me."

The alleged romance might be heating up soon as her mom, Kris Jenner, noted, "You must really like him," to which she replied, "He'll be happy."

Kardashian's exes include Odell Beckham Jr., Pete Davidson, and her ex-husband Kanye West, with whom she shares four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Kardashian seemingly accused West of being an absent father to their children due to his prolonged absence from the country.

The "Donda" rapper has been globetrotting with his wife Bianca Censori amid reports that he's "terrified" of returning to the country because of the controversy surrounding his former friend Sean "Diddy" Combs.

In a November conversation with her best friend, Zoe Winkler, Kardashian explained that she felt like a single parent.

Winkler noted that the parenting situation was "insane," to which Kardashian replied, "Yeah."

She added that she doesn't talk about raising her kids much because it involves "a lot of judgment."

"You and I have mostly connected on parenting and judgment, and you know, feeling like sometimes you're in this alone," Kardashian said before adding that she is "basically raising four kids by [herself] here."
