Travis Scott Knows Too Well What Devastation Looks Like
The "Goosebumps" rapper has been through personal tragedies of his own, like the 2021 Astroworld Festival incident, which claimed the lives of ten fans and left hundreds injured.
Last year, The Blast shared bits from his interview with GQ in November 2023, where he reflected on the aftermath of the incident and the emotional rollercoaster he had to deal with.
Scott described the event as "devastating," noting that he always thinks about it. The rapper added: "Those fans were like my family. You know, I love my fans to the utmost. I was just overly devastated."
He also confessed that moving on from the incident was not easy as there were moments when things got rough and he crashed down with emotions for the people who lost their lives, got injured, and their families who have had to live with these experiences.
A Texas grand jury cleared Travis Scott of all criminal charges in 2023, and the Harris County District Attorney also echoed the opinion that the aggrieved did not have sufficient evidence to pursue criminal charges.
With this latest move, Travis Scott has shown his commitment to making Los Angeles a happier, brighter place again!
