In her response, Good explained that her faith in God helped her to navigate the difficult situation.
She said, "Literally, I was talking to God ... and I knew exactly where I was supposed to be. And I've learned along the way that not only will things not always make sense to me, but sometimes they won't make sense to other people."
The actress continued, "That's okay, as long as you are in alignment with God and you're trusting, you know, the path that you're on ... and the more that I've done that, the happier I've been."
Good also dished on her relationship and her state of happiness. She said, "I don't know when I've been this happy before. Well, I think I might have been a kid."
Meagan Good's Co-Star Addresses Public Speculation About Her And Jonathan Majors' Relationship
As Good and Majors' relationship progressed, rumors emerged that it was a publicity stunt. However, Good's co-star, Jerrie Johnson, shut down those speculations.
Johnson revealed that she lived with Good in the early phase of her and Majors' relationship and recalled how the "Day Shift" actress felt about her beau.
Johnson shared, "I remember Meagan coming back to the house and saying, 'I think I love this man.' This was before everything happened. People don't understand how publicity works if they think this was staged. Meagan doesn't need that kind of attention—she's been doing this for 30 years."
Meagan Good Opens Up About Divorce From DeVon Franklin
Before her relationship with Majors began, Good was married to Columbia Pictures executive DeVon Franklin. They tied the knot in June 2012 but announced their separation in 2021 before finalizing their divorce in June 2022.
"The Breakfast Club" co-hosts asked Good if her divorce from Franklin made her not feel like getting married again.
She answered, "I'm a very optimistic person ... I really do trust God, even when ... I don't understand ... I have to lean into the fact that God knows what it is and what it's supposed to be, and God's going to take care of everything."
Good admitted that there were times she questioned God but expressed gratitude for her divorce experience.
She shared, "Now, sitting here today, I'm thankful for every part of the experience. I'm thankful for every part of the journey, every single thing that I've been through, whether it was that, I man, just anything along the journey has made me better, has made me stronger."

During her appearance on "The Breakfast Club," co-host Charlamagne Tha God asked Good if Majors proposed to her by asking her to be his "Coretta," in reference to the actor previously saying that she held him down like a Coretta [Scott-King] during his trial.
Good responded to Charlamagne's question by proudly stating, "Ummmm... he didn't say that. But I am his Coretta though."
She went on to reveal that she and Majors planned to dress up as Coretta and Martin Luther King for Halloween but decided not to do so because of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
