Alba and Warren met on the "Fantastic Four" set in 2004, where he served on the production crew. They married in 2008 and welcomed three children: daughters Honor and Haven and son Hayes.

Amid their split, a source told People Magazine that they're still "friends and all about the kids" but suggested it'll be hard for them not to formally split because it's been "hard to keep the spark" in their marriage.

"No matter what's going on right now, it seems they will remain close," the insider shared. "If they're filing for divorce, it's not because of some hateful drama. They still look happy together. Jess has mentioned over the years though that it's hard to keep the spark."

"Cash has been slowly moving things out of their house, but since the fires, they have been spending more time under one roof as a family," the source said.

Divorce Could Cost Jessica Alba A Significant Sum

Alba could seemingly part with a huge amount of money in her split from Warren because of the disparity in their fortune.

Legal expert and powerhouse certified family law specialist Goldie Schon told The Sun that Alba could be made to pay Warren $2 million in yearly payouts regardless of whether they signed a prenup.

Her fortune has since doubled after their marriage, and her company, The Honest Company, is valued at $609 million. On the other hand, Warren is a producer who does not seem to have worked in the industry since 2015.

"Even if there is a prenup, and she gets to keep what is hers, therefore, the Honest Company, which is quite lucrative, that will not stop the issue of spousal support," Schon told the news outlet.

"We have evolved when it comes to prenuptial agreements, and we've had some very large cases, historically, that have caused prenuptial agreements to not be able to terminate spousal support between couples that are about to marry."
