Brianna LaPaglia is taking the high and healthy road after her shocking split from her boyfriend, Zach Bryan.

Brianna LaPaglia and Zach Bryan called it quits last year after one year of a very public relationship, a decision the internet personality claimed blindsided her.
Brianna LaPaglia Is The Latest Sports Illustrated Magazine Cover Girl
The podcaster appeared ethereal on the magazine's cover, which showed her extremely toned bikini body walking down a rocky pathway. But beyond appearing pretty, LaPaglia explained the thought process behind accepting to do her first-ever cover shoot with the magazine. She noted:
"It's a lot more than me looking quote-unquote hot in a swimsuit—it's me reclaiming who I am as a woman, reclaiming my body and my decisions and my choices."
The model explained that the pictures signify that she is back to taking control of her life and the narratives. She added, "This is my body; my body isn't that experience, and even though I'm not 100% in it right now, this is me. This doesn't have anything to do with anybody else."
As reported by PEOPLE, She also sees it as an opportunity to clap back at Bryan and send a strong message to him that she can also decide to be audacious. "It is just, on a petty level, my favorite f— you. This is me, and I wanted to do this, and now I'm on the digital cover," she emphasized.

Appearing on the cover is a full-circle experience for LaPaglia, who confessed she was this close to closing a hosting deal for the magazine's 60th anniversary. However, her then-boyfriend allegedly advised her to ignore the agreement, as it was inappropriate for her brand at the time.
LaPaglia, who shared the milestone on Instagram, heeded her partner's advice, a move she regrets, but posing in an array of swimsuits and showing off her stunning tattoos makes up for it.
The media expert was captured through the expert lens of Katherine Goguen by the beaches of La Quinta, California, late last year. She looked ethereal in a tan two-piece matching her honey-blonde soft waves.
On her plans for the new year, she opened up to the magazine to host more podcasts and spend less time posting on TikTok or influencing. The star added that she is willing to seize the opportunity of the incoming TikTok ban and channel her energy into less toxic ventures. In her words:
"How I'm feeling right now is I'm like, Pop a bottle of champagne! Let's get rid of this horrible, hateful app."

In the Sports Illustrated interview, LaPaglia declared that she chose to share her lows with listeners worldwide to get over her failed romance with Bryan. While divulging that much information took a toll on her, it was a gratifying experience. She said:
"During the hardest time of my life, it's probably been one of the most rewarding things that have ever happened to me, to be able to help people in a way that I feel is a lot more meaningful than what my old content was."
She still respected her old hustle of posting silly stuff for people to laugh at, butshe discovered that "to actually change lives with coming forward and being able to give people a shoulder to lean on, or a person to cry to, it's just out of this world."
The internet sensation disclosed on a November episode of her podcast that her ex offered her $12 million, a New York apartment, and an NDA to keep her lips sealed about their relationship.
LaPaglia confirmed that she rejected the offer and decided to come out clean on how she had the most challenging year of her life "dealing with the abuse from this dude."

LaPaglia's plan to get her lick back on her ex-boyfriend entered an intense phase last year when she linked up with the musician's ex-wife, Rose Madden.
The Blast shared that she summarized details of their conversation on an episode of her "BFFs" podcast with co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.
While she did not provide details, the media expert hinted that Madden agreed with her stance on their mutual ex during a FaceTime that lasted a couple of hours.
"I f—ing love her. I have never felt more seen and validated in my life, same with her. Oh my gosh, she's a great person," the "Barstool Sports" personality explained. Portnoy also co-signed LaPaglia's statement saying:
"Quite literally every single person from his past has basically in their own way confirmed everything, which says [a lot]."

He urged them to focus on the wildfires destroying major Los Angeles areas and "stop being so sad, fickle, and childish through screens."
"I don't have a girlfriend and don't plan on having a girlfriend; however, I do have normal friends that I love very much and would go to the ends of the earth for."
The guitarist emphasized that he deserved happiness and had the right to enjoy the company of the good people around him.
He also warned the trolls to leave his friends out of their shenanigans, stressing that he was okay with being the bad guy and facing the backlash for doing what he felt was best for him.
The musician expressed his frustration with humanity, noting that, each day, he loses faith in people and is now on the edge of disappearing from the public's eye.
